Guest guest
Does anyone understand what Buhner says on page 153 regarding heart complications and stephania root? He mentions under Contraindications - not to use this if you have atrioventricular block. i don't know if i have this or not but i've had occasion troubling cardiac reactions the past year. at one point i had to go to the ER with all the symptoms of a heart attack. follow ups with the cardiologist haven't revealed anything - but i'm a bit concerned about his warning w/ Stephania. does anyone know how atrioventricular block manifests or what it feels like? i asked Buhner directly thanks to and Planet Thrive but his answer was a bit vague. i'm not sure if i'm allowed to post it here because Planet Thrive releases this info on a special schedule. regardless, how does one know if they have atrioventricular block or are prone to get it? Guest guest
Steve, if no one comes with an answer, you could post the question on lymenet.org. There are many more people there than here, so the chance you'll get someone to know what are the symptoms you're asking would be higher (they passed the 10,000 in numbers there). I don't know about the stephania root question, you could post together or in two different posts and see what people will come with. Many are on Buhner's herbs but not all are here. It looks a serious problem, better to be safe than sorrow. Many lymees have problems with the heart that go out after treatment, but some may develop real serious troubles that will remain for life. Guest guest
wow - 10,000 - that's amazing. i wonder if anyone can remember anyone's name in that group. would you say it's more resourceful than lymestrategies? Guest guest
Steve and Selma, On both of these groups it's pretty much the same people posting all the time. I doubt if 10,000 are active members. Maybe I am wrong. Not sure if there is really any way to know. I guess moderators can see who logs on. I like both of them for different reasons. I also love it here and Planet Thrive. Guest guest
Lymestrategies only have people that follow salt/C. Lymenetorg have people doing all kinds of things. It's not , so it's easier to follow threads. I find it useful because of the mere number of people. Not everybody posts (like in any forum) but you can get a lot of info there, specially for questions like yours (about heart). Guest guest
Hi Joyce, you're surely correct about not 10,000 people posting. I just suggested Steve as he got no answers for his heart question here. Guest guest
As you all have probably surmised, I have not been here for awhile. I have been way too busy fixing my truck after my Texas accident, plus pouring concrete slabs, etc., etc.. I have been taking Stephania Root for almost a year now without any big complications that I know of. For awhile I would get what felt like some mild pains near the heart, but it could have been gas. Tums seemed to help at times. Course I took so many herbs, who know what if any, side effects I might have gotten from what. I went to my duck for a complete physical a few weeks ago, and everything came out good on the tests except for my cholesterol, which was a little high. My doc even took a liver test as he was " worried " that I have liver problems because I take so many herbs. I wasn't worried about it because I take Red Root and milk thistle. And I was right, it was great. Well, got to get to bed soon. Hope you are all making headway and improving. I have my truck sold to a guy in Kentucky and have to make a trip this weekend to Minnesota before I bring it down to him with a couple of cars he bought from me. I need to get out of the old car hauling. Takes up too much of my time and I can't get to my projects. Take care, Jim ### selmanaka <hardynaka@...> wrote: Steve, if no one comes with an answer, you could post the question on lymenet.org.
