Guest guest
Hi All, I just want to share something interesting. I have been on andrographis for six months and in general have not pulsed it. This week I tried an experiment, because I haven't had stunning results from my protocol--(2 caps, 3x/day--though I started at 3 caps, 3x/day for the first four months) so thought I'd try something different. So went off of it for three days, then doubled my normal dose beginning two days ago (and will continue through tomorrow) to see if I could " stun " the bacteria. Well I have about four nasty Lyme rashes on my leg today, and I RARELY get rashes. I've been told this can be an indication of a herx and that the immune system is fighting the illness. I know Buhner advises against pulsing, but I wonder if a few days off encourages the buggers to come out of hiding, where one can then " stun " them with a high dose of herb. Has anyone else tried this? I'm just curious whether my little experiment might have worked. Thanks-- Connie
