Guest guest
Hi All - My son just diagnosed with Lyme. He will be starting antibiotics tomorrow. Also I got the book 'Healing Lyme'. I was going over the core protocols - Andrographis, Japanese Knotweed and Cat's Claw. It is not clear in the book whether all of the above 3 are used at the same time or only one is used depending on where the symptoms are manifested? If any one knows, could you please let me know. Also - I have not given any of these protocols to my son. I am looking for a good Naturopath in NJ area for consultation. Let me know if any one knows a good one. I read in 'Healing Lyme' a sentence referring to Lyme Periodicity. Is Lyme symptoms are cyclic and periodic nature? Is it predictable? Let me know if anyone has any experience in that. Thanks, Sanjukta
Guest guest
Hi Sanjukta, Yes, many of us use many herbals at the same time. It's probably best to start them one at a time to see how you do on each. I started one per week, and increased dosages as Buhner suggests in the book. Lyme supposedly has a one month life cycle, complicated in women in that Lyme flares with our cycles. The PMS Lyme flares are the only Lyme flares I would call predictable, but maybe I just haven't figured out patterns of other flares. We're all different and somewhat new at this. It's a good idea to read the book thoroughly, get help from others (like you are here), check out Buhner's website/gaianstudies.org, Buhner's column at planetthrive.com, look for local support group meetings (lymenet.org/SupportGroups/UnitedStates), etc. You'd get lots of info at a local support meeting, including who's using what naturopaths, etc. Bless you for being there for your son! Do you think he's had Lyme long, or is this a first and recent infection? Ann In a message dated 12/28/06 4:28:18 AM, gayen@... writes: > Hi All - My son just diagnosed with Lyme.
