Guest guest
I had very small herx's while on rocephin, doxy-amox, BUT when i started my Zith-ceftin WOW. Woke up very late, could hardly move, freezin cold; hubby had a fire in frieplace I layed in front with sweats, heavy socks, a quilt and a blanket and still could not get warm, fever of about 104, and I hurt; hair hurt, skin hurt. And this started within 16 hrs of taking first dose, actually it proabaly hit 10 hrs later, but I slept an extra 8 hrs. LLMD told me to discontinue Rx's and take 1/2 tsp baking soda in water, sip veryy small amounts, within 2 hrs fever abated, still felt like I had been dropped froma plane and run over by a train! ! I took a 100mg doxy last night and another > one this morning.... > > > > ...and all of a sudden I feel awful! The symptons lasted the entire four months I was on the pills. It was so bad I had to see specialists with no result. My Lyme doc said it could not be the doxy and he never heard of Lyme causing sinus problems. It all stopped within a week of stopping the Doxy jim
Guest guest
Jim, one of my Lyme symptoms is severe sinus infection. It is caused by the lyme or maybe i should say agrivated by it. Before diagnoses i had a terrible sinus infection. my eyes my face my head were all infected. and when i started on doxy, it got worse before it got better. when i stopped antibiotics for 4 weeks earlier this year, the sinus infection was back with a vengence. i believe the sinus infection is a lyme thing and is on the list of symptoms. i have been on IV for 7 weeks and my sinuses are no longer a problem. roe --- world <Worldcom33@...> wrote: > > > Dear Idelle: > > > > That's the ticket! Guest guest
I am on 2 grms. Rocephin IV for 7 weeks now and 1000 mgs of biaxon. It cleared up the sinus problem after about a week. I also had the swelled nose and my face hurt so bad and my eyes were a mess. Nothing over the counter helped when i wasnt on antibiotics. It is so much better now, i have stopped taking allergy and sinus meds. i use an over the counter nasel spray occasionaly, when i feel stuffed up. but it is nothing like it was a couple of months ago and my eyes are much better too. roe --- CherylMcQ@... wrote: > i have longstanding siunus issues...face hurts, face had swelled , > nose > brigde got wider ans swelled around eyes.....nasal passages full, > etc.... > it has helped to do 'nasal saline douche' moist heat, sudafed, > lyme ABX > and a vapoizer.... > But i would like to know what I.V. ???
