Guest guest
Geezh , And I thought I was the of the list. Sounds like you had a horrible day. Glad you could find some humor in it. Some days I can too, but its difficult, but so important. Hang in there, you will definitely be in my prayers tonight. 8:00 everyone - I haven't felt your presence these last few days, could be because I'm feeling so lousy. I need prayers too - I feel awful!!!! , you are an amazing mother, I don't know how much of that I could handle, but know I'm am trying to send you good vibes and prayers. Hope your day today is much better!!!!! hugs, Vicki, Md P.S. Sometimes I think I'll have a drink to save my sanity, problem is my body cannot handle it anymore. So laughter is definitely the best medicine, you chose right. > > Hi to all my friends, > > I need to release, plus it will provide for a good laugh. >Yesterday I was ready for cocktails by 10am. Started out with cleaning up >throw=up from my 2 yr. old. Then got the girls up and moving for school, >cleaned a runny diaper, emailed something to my husband at school (for his >master's thesis), got dressed, went downstairs only to be faced with another >runny. Got the girls off to school, cleaned up some more throw-up, took >laundry down put it in the wash. Came back up for another runny, then mother >called asking for something, plummer shows up and I take him down to the >basement to work on water heater only to find that the plummer who came last >week had not put the drainage hose on the washer back on tight enough so I >had a fludded back half of basemeant (of course this is where the plummer >needed to work). Cleaned this up a bit (thank God for those towels and >comforter that I hadn't had the energy to get into the wash yet.Went back up >stairs to face another runny and rising fever in my toddler. After rocking >him for an hour and a half I was able to put him down on the couch so that I >could get some cleaning done (did I mention that I had the couple who will be >renting the house coming at 3:00). I cleaned the house a little, cleaned up >the child a little. Just as the plummer was finishing up the paper work >around 11:30, my son proceeds to upchuck all over himself and the >couch....now I am trying to clean up after him, keep the dogs from helping >me...YUCK ! and help the plummer get away from this mayhem. At this point it >was either cry (which wasn't a bad idea), laugh or have a stiff drink....I >chose to laugh.....I just sat and laughed.....why not, my house was a wreck, >child was losing it every other min, my basement was fludded and the plummer >was trying to run away from this crazy women and her whacky house. It didn't >help either that I couldn't remember what I had stopped doing to take care of >another crisis, so I was chasing my own tail all morning........maybe the >stiff drink would have been a better choice.....LOL !!!
