C, even though the blood is screened for this I don't believe they are using and Antigen detection test. My friend who is a Physician's Assistant has improved a great deal with this therapy. My background is in teaching Laboratory Science to Physicians. As bad as My autoimmune issues are, I would be willing to take the risk, but at $8,000.00 plus per treatment, without my ins. approval. I won't get the chance. Carol Fisch in MI
Guest guest
Dear Jane & Larry, I'm sorry, but I don't recall enough about the immunoglobulin treatment to definitively comment on it. I believe it used to be possible to be infected with it, but they might have been able to treat it to prevent that. I'll ask my internist on Tuesday. I know I declined it when I had a needle stick in ~ 1993 because of that worry. Eileen, NJ
