Guest guest
I saw my LD, Dr. G today. She and I spoke along time on the crisis going on. I showed her pictures of our rally and she recognized many of us. She is involved in a legal way in supporting Dr. B. She told me she has to follow every law very careful now so there is no way anyone can start something. She says its so easy for the state to come in and read our records. She wouldn't take my used Bicillin syringes anymore, since it is illegal. I asked if she will still treat people if they don't show up positive on tests, and she said absolutely. Since I haven't improved in over a year of oral and injectable abxs, I will need IVs. But she said its almost impossible to get approval from insurance for IVs. Most patients, in NJ, have to go see Dr. Segal, who gets paid $400 for a 10 minute visit, which is paid by the insurance company by the way. He is telling patients that if they still have symptoms after 3 weeks of abxs, you are making it all up. When she told me this, I started to cry. Geez. He will always say you don't need IVs. This is what she said in her experience. She told me about a doctor who lost his license, down in south jersey. He was treating lyme disease. He shot himself in the head when he lost his livelyhood. She still sees his patients. There is also a female doctor up in maine who lost her license recently. This is happening everywhere. I will follow you guys anywhere you want to rally. We can't give up. gentle hugs, from sussex co. nj
Guest guest
Hi , The doctor who committed suicide was Dr Bleiweiss, his office was in Trenton I believe, a very sad story indeed. You can read his essay at this site: http://cassia.org/essay.htm The first time I read it I cried because it was me, exactly how I felt, I was so sad to hear he had died. We need to do something to prevent this from happening to more and more of our Lyme doctors. Like you, I need IV's too, although there are no studies that prove this is the way to go, I have read and heard enough anecdotal evidence to convince me that I need it. Here's hoping and praying you and I get some relief soon. Hugs, Marta (South Jersey) > From: Phishmomnj@... > > I saw my LD, Dr. G today.
