Guest guest
Hi Pepi, That was me who posted about him. I know he is not perfect, for awhile there he posted frequently on the sci.med.diseases.lyme newsgroup, and got into arguments with many on the group about LD and it's manifestations, he finally gave up and moved on when he could not convince the group he was right. I admired him because he was willing to listen, and responded to email very quickly. Like any scientist, he relies on the medical studies and since he is not a clinical doctor, he does not see the patients. In a way he is right in his reply, I think he was warning you not to get surgery for your disc problems, due to the underlying LD condition, there would be no guarantee that the surgery would be successful, as it is mostly nerve damage causing these conditions. I too saw a neurosurgeon two years ago when only C-5, C-6 were present, who wanted to operate right away, I am glad I put it off, although now I have C-7 involvement too. Actually the neck pain comes and goes just like any Lyme sx, and it is bearable. Don't you find that true too? Do you know anything about those doctors he mentioned?
