Guest guest
Hi , that's a tough question. I've done a few different detox's. The most effective one I've done is Rejuvalife which was a 4 week detox but it is very expensive. This detox included a detox diet, counciling and being hooked up to a machine 3 times per week. This machine helps break the toxins down that are stored in fat cells to allow them to flush from the body. Detox diets always include drinking large amounts of water to help flush the toxins. There are shorter detox programs and less expensive programs than this that can be very effective. I just happened to be fortunate and have this offered to me free of charge. This detox period was followed by a parasite cleanse then a liver cleanse which I would strongly recommend. Because you mention having worked with alot of toxic chemicals the detox you need would address all the different organs in your body. I'd recommend that when trying to detox this deep you not do it on your own. First discuss it with your doctor he may want to monitor you during your detox. Then find a program that you feel comfortable with and that offers ongoing support. Even I had doubts during my detox period and needed help when my digestive system decided to shut down for a short time. It's amazing the way our emotions are affected by a deep cleanse, please be aware that you may suffer depression for a short time. As well often a person may feel worse for a short time during the detox, some of the things often noted are, headaches, nausea, fever, tiredness, increased inflamation, diarhea or constipation. Without someone helping guide you through the detox many people get these symptoms and think it's bad for them, that their body isn't tollerating the cleanse and quit. Unfortunately there is no way for the body to feel great while flushing toxins but we need to remember the toxic build up causes disease and is also one of the leading causes of weight gain. Also if you don't have all the information necessary and you try to detox on your own you may not know of some of the key elements to an effective detox. When you do a guided detox the person working with you asks questions on a regular basis, ensuring you are getting maximum results from your efforts and minimal side effects. Sorry , not the information you asked for but it really is an individual decision which program would work best for you. A quality nutritional, high in antioxidants along with a good diet will also do a slow, ongoing detox but may not clear out all of the deep seated toxins from working with toxic chemicals.
