Guest guest
Hi everyone- I learned long ago that keeping up with the joneses wasn't for me. Of course youd like to keep your yarn in perfect condition, and in competition with your neighbors for the best landscaping or flower beds. Our house is overgrown, needs re seeding. I planted meadow flowers to try and Greenly landscape like everyone else. It looked horrible so I "YES I" pulled them all out. Our house is in a state of unheaval because we are trying to fix it up to sell it. That wont be until next year. Now, I have a little house cleaning secret to share with everyone. You dont need get well card on the mantle to excuse your messiness. Just do what I do. Since I cant keep up with the maintenance of the house anymore, because of my RA, I get rid of everything I can. Namely furniture, towels, curtains, books, knick knacks. Anything that I can live without or that's too heavy for me to clean. An almost empty home is easier to clean. Cant vacuum? Get a maid to come once a week. Its as decadent as having your nails done. I also want the new house I move into with my guy to be hard wood. No vacuuming. Just swiffer and Im done. I also dont have a dishwasher now, and drop and break dishes aplenty and have taken to using a sippy cup alot. If the house is as empty as possible its a cinch to clean. Take up a swiffer duster, and clear the get well cards off the mantle. My mother always had a plaque hung over her kitchen and one when you came in the door. Bless this mess, and my favorite.........a dirty house is the product of an immaculately clean mind. Everyone have a swiffery day............Deborah

I'm giving everything away on Freecycle. http://www.freecycle.org Nina
