Guest guest
The " daily welcome communication " was just my way of saying how much I like lyme-aidegroups. I want to be able to read entire messages and not just subjects. Thanks for any help. Joan

Guest guest
Hi, Steve & Matt, 2 things about Co-Q10: >Sublingual 200 mg. C0Q10 wafers (1/2 wafer in >AM and 1/2 in afternoon) noticeably improves my cognitive function >(short-term memory, alertness, etc.). The wafers are expensive at about >$43/month I was at about this price range too, until I found that Vitaline Formulas makes a bottle of 500 200mg wafers, which is sold for about $400. Comes to about $24-25/mo. Vitamin Shoppe carried it about 3 years ago - don't know if they still do. I do know I found it still available at a vitamin wholesale web site just a couple of months ago - just don't remember whose at the moment. >Does anyone know if I put the Q10 powder under my tongue for a while >if it might get absorbed, or does the wafer have something special >about it to make that happen? $43/month for the wafers is a bit of a >problem for my budget. When I was started on CoQ10 it was as a sublingual 'troche' made by dissolving the powder in hot Jello & letting it set. Then the appropriate size piece is allowed to dissolve under the tongue, where it dissolves slowly but completely & gives great absorption. I would think that you could make up a batch as easily as a pharmacist - & get to choose your flavor, too (Pharmacy on the Park only serves orange). For me that worked better than the wafers. But since Blue Cross isn't paying for it anymore I had to go the cheaper route. Occasionally I would get a batch where the Jello was opaque instead of clear - I assume that the powder didn't completely dissolve in that batch. But it didn't seem to make a difference. What I got was a 28-day supply, 5.6g dissolved in what looked like about 8.4mL - 4cmX7cmX3mm. That's 2g/3mL, or 200g into 300mL = 1 + 1/5 cup. Must be kept refrigerated - I don't know if freezing it would hurt or not. The poop-out brought that franticness and seemingly unlimited panic back to extraordinary levels that we had not seen in 2 years. Even noted the difference in how it felt to her. Sometimes, though, it is impossible for us to figure out what is going on. That's when it is important to phone the p-doc and let her know what is going on. Guest guest
Hi all, I have had the flu shot in the past while being on MTX. My doctors feel that I need the shot because of the autoimmune condition and the fact that MTX is lowering our ability to fight off infections. We are at risk for all sorts of upper respiratory problems. I have not had a reaction from the shot that I can remember. Hope this helps
Guest guest
HI, My son got Rothschild AFO's this fall, and has not had a single sore spot or problem with them, from day one. Including starting school with a work program, and h aving an afterschool job 3 days a week that he is on his feet at a hospitality desk of a fitness center. Only problem we have so far is shoes, he had to have brown for one job, black for another, and the brown rockports aren't doing the job. But I am amazed that we had no breaking in period. SInce increasing supplements, I have seen improvement in this area. I think Grapeseed Extract and flaxseed oil have helped. mjh

Guest guest
Bonnie I use lots of sea salt because by the time the gum gets swollen, it is already infected. The sea salt is a natural antibiotic. This with coconut oil helps to heal the gums. As to the baking soda it is a cleanser (abrasive) and whitens teeth. You may reduce the powders if you like. ================================== 8. Coconut Oil as Toothpaste From: Bonnie Cole 8.
