Guest guest
This is what I do. I try to save easy open caps off bottles and use them to replace the child proof ones. Some of the child proof caps can be seperated so they become easy open. I also buy a lot of my cleaning products from Family Dollar, Dollar General and Dollar stores...so a lot of them do not have child proof caps to begin with. While I know that you can ask for a non child proof lid at the pharmacy and I know you can find easy to open caps on over the counter medicines, what I'd like to know is where can you find 'easy to open' household cleaning goods. I know there's supposed to be grippy things or grippers or whatever they're called, but they don't necessarily work on items like toilet bowl cleaners. Does anyone have any suggestions? Guest guest
OXO brand has a toiletbrush with a larger/easier to grip handle....I bought one recently, and I found it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond....it was pricier ($20).....but in my opinion, worth a little extra. You can always do a search online as well for adaptive household items...One thing I do, is instead of buying rubber grips to open jars and such...I cut up a roll of drawer liner...(you know the kind that's rubberized and meshy like? It is cheap and if one wears out...I have another handy. I do like the idea of a cleaning lady....but I'm too stubborn and my budget is too tight...but hey, if I ever hit the big lottery!!!!..... shelly smiegal <shelsmieg2000@...> wrote: Yes, hire someone to do the cleaning for you! Guest guest
There is a great rubber lid remover called the screwy lewy. At least thats what we used to call it. If I can find a picture, I will send it. Also, I think I may be needing a pantry full of plastic cups and dishes or corelle wear. I drop everything with my fingers and wrists so weak from flares. Be well everyone.........Deborah
