Guest guest
Hey June: First of all, I am jealous that you are at 2.5 mg. of Prednisone. It will be a while before I get that low. I am at 7 mg. and holding. Second, we went to a football party yesterday afternoon and then to my husband's company party last night too. Our dinner was not nearly as elegant as yours. We had family style chicken, beef tips and fish, mashed potatoes, peas, stuffing, homemade bread and cold slaw. Our desert was cake. It tasted great though. I am so tired today though. I slept until 11:00 and have been lazy all day. I was in bed earlier but got up cuz I couldn't fall alseep yet. We managed to get the tree down and decorations down today though. I got dressed for a total of about 3 hours and then put my pj's back on and went to bed. I will try going to bed again after I finish looking at the e-mail. You have a great week ok? I hope you got rested up today. I feel kind of fluish. Jeannette

Guest guest
June, Doesn't Beverly have to open the chat room? Your dinner sounded very nice. I am glad that they gave you such an elegant dinner. For all those years of service, I am glad they appreciate you. Sorry to hear you are hurting today. I hope you feel better soon. a ----- Original Message ----- From: JUNE <juner24@...> onelist < egroups> Sent: Sunday, January 07, 2001 7:39 PM Subject: [ ] Chat room > I used to go to the Chat room with Beverly often. Guest guest
June, Don't hang your head. I started this list and I too have never been there. So if I am not hanging MY head, don't you hang yours I don't think anyone uses it. It seem so easy to use, especially with the link at the bottom of each email. If someone wants to talk about off topic subjects, they can go to the chat room and talk away. Maybe tomorrow I'll try it. and I were talking about starting a scheduled chat on different topics. I've been offline more than I want to be right now, so it hasn't gotten done. Maybe next week will be a better week. Have a good night. a ----- Original Message ----- From: JUNE <juner24@...> onelist < egroups> Sent: Wednesday, January 10, 2001 2:38 AM Subject: [ ] Chat Room > a,I am hanging my head in shame. Guest guest
my reflexes and thinking skills are so slow. For instance, yesterday or day before I made ... with a cabbage some COLE SLAW. Not 5 minutes after I put in fridg my husband came in and asked what we were having. I said... " ... you know...? " He said, " What? " I said, " You know... that green thing we bought. " he, " WHAT green thing? " I said, " It looks like a plant that grows, it don't have dirt on it. It is clean. I had to cut it up. " He looked at me blankly, I said. " Well, it wasn't lettuce! " He said, " Well, what was it??!! " I said, " I don't know... GO LOOK, IT'S IN THE THE THING THAT'S IN THAT ROOM IN THERE!!! " he said, " WHAT ROOM???? " I said, " THE ONE BESIDE THE ONE WHERE I WASH CLOTHES! " So he gets up and goes in kitchen to fridge, opens it and says, " O.K., WHERE in the Refrigerator is it??? " (he is mad really mad now!) I said, " HOW SHOULD I KNOW??? I DON " T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS??? " And that should sum up how I would do in a CHAT room. With email, I can take my time and THINK, THINK, and think some more. And re read what I write. And believe me. I mess up big time... and correct it. This is a true story. And several things like this happens here daily. I even wash and dry my hair and fix it, and do it again... all the while thinking, " Hummm, seems like I just did this. " And he comes in and tells me I did! I get dressed, and go into the closet looking for the sweater I HAVE ON, and find another one (because I can't find the one i have on) and take one I have on , off. And put on the other. He stands there dumbfounder... and so do I. I get in the Bathtub with half my clothes on... now THAT is an eye opener. But the Doctor seems to think there is no nneed for an MRI for brain. I guess it is my hair color he is looking at! " Oh...forget the MRI... she's just blonde! " Susie a wrote: > June, > Don't hang your head. Guest guest
Judy, I am also having a lot of problems with fibro fog. I can be in the middle of a conversation and forget what I am talking about. I constantly am misplacing things, and worse of all I am forgetting to pay bills. In the last few months I have let my homeowners insurance lapse AND my auto insurance. It's a good thing that I have a long standing relationship with these companies and was reinstated. I think it is time to let my husband take over the bills. I've talked to my doctor and he says it is normal for FM. I find it very scary and wonder how they know the difference between fibro fog and Alzheimer's. Don't think you are alone. I just hope it doesn't get worse. a ----- Original Message ----- From: <JHend65291@...> < egroups> Sent: Wednesday, January 10, 2001 12:00 PM Subject: Re: [ ] Chat Room > Constantly misplacing and forgetting things....I used to spell really > well...lately I can't think how to spell certain words especially in type on > here.....Forget where I 'm going...have always made lists when I have things > that need to get done..but most times I for get where I put the list or to > take it with me....LOL ..I just figured it was age more than anything > else......but now that I know about fibro fog...I do know since I have tried > walking without talking I seem to be less bruised..I was so clutzy for first > couple of yrs..after I had my rt knee replaced ...and I fell on other leg > badly ..I have concentrated on only one thing at a time if I am moving > physically...from one place to another.....terrible ? Guest guest
Hi there, I think all joining in a chat room would be fun. Why dont we set up a date to all meet there. For example, like a Sunday afternoon. Something that will work with all the time zones. Like 3pm Eastern time.. would be noon in California etc. You never know it might work out. What are all your thoughts on this? I believe there is a chat room on the site.
