Guest guest
I have been going to the doctor for several years now wondering what was wrong with me. One of my first thoughts was lyme disease and the doctor said it wasn't even in our state at that time. But he ran blood tests for all types of arthritis and they were all negative. He couldn't tell me what was wrong....so he put me on anti-depressants. I quit seeing him and went to a rheumatologist who said I have fibromyalgia and also put me on anti-depressants. When I questioned her about lyme disease she said that if I had it I would have seen a big sore where the tick bite was and would be alot worse. A friend of mine told me about this group and thought I should check it out. I am amazed at what I am reading. Is it really possible that I have been bitten by an infected tick??? I live in a rural area and have had literally hundreds of tick bites over the past years. I also saw where someone commented about it being worse just before a menstrual cycle. I am experiencing the same thing. How can I find a doctor in the St. Louis, Missouri area that knows about lyme disease and can maybe help me.
