Guest guest
The Larry King show on depression, manic/depression and suicide was fabulous. I wish I'd had a blank tape to have recorded it. He had the author of a new book on manic depressionand suicide Nighttime Falling??? by Dr. Kay Redfield on, several well known people, Rod Steiger and Phyllis Diller and spokespeople from suicide survivors groups. The awful awful pain of deep depression was clearly presented w/ such a straight forward atttitude, i.e. THIS IS AN ILLNESS not a moral affliction and this illness is frequently fatal. Most survivors of suicide attempts are very grateful to be alive now and very grateful they got help. The book sounds great. I'll be getting a copy.
