The study nurse told me that if I'm still sick I can't get the shot and I would need to call in and they'd call a prescription into my pharmacy for an antibiotic so I could get rid of the allergy. Now I have to wait a week or so for the first one...I was looking forward to it to get started on the pain relief. GrrrrrSorry you are having to delay your treatment. It's always something, isn't it?Nina
Guest guest
I just heard back from the doctors office. They are calling me in a 5 day antibiotic and I'm to keep the appt for Tuesday cuz they may be able to give me the shot since this isn't a real bad allergy with all the yuck. I better go try and get some sleep to help kick it faster. I guess we'll find out Tuesday. *shrugs* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maggie http://www.4HockeyFans.com http://www.4FloridaHockey.com MSN: Maggies1429 AOL: Maggies85 Nina wrote: Sorry you are having to delay your treatment. Guest guest
Antibiotics can also kill off the good digestive bacteria so you may need to replace them. I try to eat yogurt daily with live culture to keep my digestive enzymes up. God bless. ----- Original Message ----- From: Maggie Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Friday, July 29, 2005 10:28 AM Subject: Re: Humira - It figures I just heard back from the doctors office. Guest guest
Thanks Harold, I always look forward to your posts. You give good advice :-) I'll eat some yogurt too. It's much easier for me to eat yogurt now that they have come out with the Yoplait Whipped Raspberry Chocolate flavor... yumm. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maggie http://www.4HockeyFans.com http://www.4FloridaHockey.com MSN: Maggies1429 AOL: Maggies85 Harold Van Tuyl wrote: Antibiotics can also kill off the good digestive bacteria so you may need to replace them.
