Hang in there, buddy!! , write me when you can, I sent you something. Had a bad weekend, my Grandmother died. She was the last grandparent I had. Kind of down right now, but she is in a better place and did live to be 93. But, she was a real nice woman and so loving to everyone. ~a <pdelarosa@...> wrote:

Hi .....I am so sorry that you're dealing with a lot of pain right now. I hope that you can get some meds that will help with that pain. As far as the depresion...I would look into something for that also. I am getting to the point where I may be asking for some myself. I've been on medicaid disability (Ohio) since 1999. I ws dx with r/a in 1983 and am now having really the worst year I can remember dealing with it. Just can't do a thing. I get one problem under control and anither pops up. If it isn't painful feet (deformity also), it is the hands (deformed)fingers and if that isn't the biggest problem that day, then it can be mouth sores, Sjogrens, the Humira allergic reaction, etc. We're are all in this same boat. It's horrible but we have each

other. I try to think back to the time when the internet wasn't available and my grandmother or great grandmom had no one to talk to about any ache or pain..just the family. If your family wasn't supportive or understanding....what could you do? I'm glad we are all here for each other. So if you're depressed, we can have a pity party all together. I have had quite a few myself. Hang in there....Hugs..a Ohio

a, thank you for reminding me how lucky I am, and everyone. Without the

internet I can't imagine having made it through the time when I was so

crippled up.

Hi a,

Thanks for sending this in regards to . How true what you've said. Thank

goodness for this group. I don't post often, but it sure is an informative,

caring bunch of people. It's nice to know that this group is here for us all.

I was diagnosed with RA last Nov. even have a negative reading from the blood

test. And I know this has been coming on for years, but was always given some

excuse of something else. Mainly being my age and a diabetic. The prescriptions

scare me to death and I'm " trying " to deal without them, and it's not easy. I

keep bouncing back to them. And yes, depression....one of the bad things with

this disease.

, I hope you can find something to ease your pain. But just know we are all

on this group to be there for each other.

They always blamed mine on my Sjogren's Syndrome or PBC. My RA numbers are not that high and the rheumy was shocked to my hand so swollen and crippled when I just happened to have an appt. on the day of a major flare.

looking back at my child hood i would go to visit my

grand father ( moms dad ) he was young and crippled

become crippled and deformed just since my last child

was born in less than 7 yrs ??? and she complains none

either and she is at the point we have to walk her to

and from the bed and bath right now she cannt get out

of bed by herself ,, mayby tomorrow itll be a bit

better ??? only can pray ! well I wish you and all the

best it is a battle of whats broken next or hurts

worse ,,, so supportive i guess so but talk to i dont

know about ? sorry you are haveing a hard time , maybe

one day someone or the one will make things right for

us .
