I'm looking forward to walking normally and without pain soon! So glad to hear you got through the surgery relatively unscathed. Hope you get back on both feet soon! Guest guest
Congrats on scheduling! I think it depends if you are behind or over the muscle. I had my surgery 2 weeks ago but my implants were over the muscle so surgery wasn't as hard on my body. My insicions were also only around my nipple because the lift was done internally. I was very sore the first 3 days. My husband had to help me out of bed, but I was ok on the toilet on my own! Which he was happy about. At day 4 I was much better and could do mostly everything on my own, just had to be careful. I would say 2 weeks rest is good. and 4-6 weeks of no excersise. I felt so much better after 1 week and took out clients to go see a house, and after just 2 hours I was exhausted...I would suggest getting the pain pump if it is offered to you as well. It did minimize my discomfort and was well worth the money. Again, congrats on scheduling..I think that was the hardest part for some of us! Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. --- In , " sukeekitty " <sukeekitty@y...> wrote: > > Hi Everyone, > My surgery is set for 11/10 and I was wondering if anyone can give me > some insight on how my recovery might be. Guest guest
Hi , Wow, you got your implants only a few weeks before me, and here we are getting them removed at about the same time. I know there are a few of us having surgery in this timeframe. How long did it take for you to start having symptoms? Thinking back I realize I had symptoms right away, but didn't recognize them until about two weeks later. I vividly remember how much pain I was in after the BA, too - and I don't know exactly how the pain will be this time around, but the concensus seems to be that it's not as painful as getting the implants. As for feeling better on a day you didn't take vitamins, I have noticed the same thing. I haven't taken the pre-surgical vitamins at all because I got really sick last month when I was taking vitamins that were not nearly as potent as the pre-surgical ones.
