Guest guest
Hi RK, Sorry for the Bad news, ID doctors have always been jerks, in my experience anyway. I am thrilled you have the appointment and so soon, I just pray that it works out for you. And never, ever think you are a psyche case, no matter what those Idiot ID's say..... Hugs, Marta From: " Kiana Rossi " <bornfree@...> Subject: Bad news ... Good news ... The Bad News ... My ID MD has decided that I don't have Lyme at all and never did. This is based on my negative Western Blot test [which was done at a lab in Utah]. His recommendations: 1. See a Rheumatologist 2. My symptoms are most likely being accentuated by my unresolved childhood abuse issues. In other words, I am a psych case --- screw you doc!!! The second bad news came when I called my PCP for a referral to a Rheumatologist -- a mid-February appointment was the only day available. So now I was scheduled to see the Pain Control doc before my diagnosis doc. Not good news. I got on the horn and called the Rheum doc. I am automatically on a waiting list for the next cancelled appointment. You have to be there when they call. No answer machines. Guess where I am most of the time ... near the phone. [i have 3 different phone numbers here, one business, one personal and my internet connection line.] The Good News ... About 10 minutes after I hung up I got called back with an opening for the 27th of December, Monday. I am rejoicing! Maybe I can get somewhere with this doctor ... maybe not ... but the other Good News ... it is all covered by my insurance. The ID MD wasn't. So I am praising the Lord and another prayer has been answered for Christmas!!! All my husband wants for Christmas is to get a diagnosis and treatment for me. Now maybe that can be a reality. --
