Guest guest
To be or not to be with Humira or any other biologic that gives you QUALITY of life? If you were hooked on drugs like morphine, I can see psychological dependency, but this is just beyond. Any RD who questions the fact that RA patients psychologically FEAR pain, is not someone who has ever HAD a FLARE or the impossible misery that comes with it. Let any RD walk one day in our shoes and then let them say that. This conception issue is secondary to the possible hereditary consequences of this disease. Research is just now being done about passing RA on. The FDA has a rating system for biologics such as Humira. Class "A" being harmless. Humira is in the B class. Not enough is known about its effects on pregnancy. I know methyltrexate is strong advised against. You have a hard enough time making life choices like this without having to argue the point with your RD. Yours, Deborah
