Guest guest
I have never taken MTX with Enbrel or Humira and the Humira has controlled me very well except for these couple of flares. Suzie, I too am planning to start a family soon! I have to get bloodwork done for genetic counseling but if that goes well, we will try soon. I feel like I can handle going off all my drugs and all my issues except with Humira and RA. But I will let the Humira go as well. My only fear is if it takes us a long time to get pregnant, how sick will I get? A doctor told me ideally they like for the mother to be in remission for 3 to 6 months prior to trying but I feel I am never going to be in remission without the aid of drugs. I am 35 and feel its now or never! > > >> I feel like the Humira is not working as well for me anymore? I > > > have been on it > > >> for about a year and a half. Guest guest
Yes, the hurdle of coming off drugs to get pregnant is one which does scare me. but i figure that my body does nothing right now, so SURELY making a baby is going to be the one thing it does right!! cross fingers!! suzie > > > >> I feel like the Humira is not working as well for me anymore? Guest guest
I have been on the no sugar, no white stuff diet but it did not help my RA. I have not ever cut red meat out of my diet though, not that I eat a ton but I do eat it. I did give up coffee and found it definitely eliminated some of my other pain. I have also noticed a negative effect with chocolate and eat it very sparingly. I too feel at this point not ready to do the whole detox diet, but I bet if my RA starts flaring when I go off my meds I will not only be emailing you, , but coming to your house! > >> > >> I feel like the Humira is not working as well for me anymore?
