Guest guest
Hi Becky... Yikes! I have heard quite a few patients having horrible reactions to these meds. Mine, being Humira. I took Enbrel first and it was great. I could swear it helped me right away. But then I got many mouth sores..so he switched me to Humira..which caused an allergic reaction (red/purple hard area, burning, soreness...). it was strange because I had never had a reaction to humira before. dr said to use benadryl a day before my injection but it didn't help so he will be switching me again. I'm thinking remicade but not sure..... I liked the enbrel though. Hugs and good luck!! a
Guest guest
I'm with you, Theresa. I had enough trouble quitting tobacco cigarettes, LOL. I'm on Enbrel, and it's working very well for me. I don't take anything else for my RA except arthritis-strength Tylenol and Tramadol occasionally. I have very little pain and inflammation, and I hope that continues indefinitely. I hope that the Enbrel helps you as much as it does me. Good luck!
