Guest guest
Sorry for the old post, but I've never thought about not marrying before so that in the future, if I needed it, I would be able to " qualify " for health care services. I've yet to read the responses to this post, but is this something people with RA really seriously consider? Thanks for the info--you guys always get me thinking! I am on disability and I have to say that I cannot marry him though we have talked about it several times. I told him . His insurance wouldn't come close to covering my meds or copays, and since his income becomes my income, I cant afford to marry him. Now that medicare part D is coming, and my prescription coverage wont be paid by the state anymore, Does anybody know if we are penalized like we would be if we were on state aid?
