No. They just move your arms, legs, etc. through the full range of motion(if possible) to see how much you've lost. The doctor will ask you to do a bunch of stuff to see if you can bend and stretch, but you only have to go as far as you can with it.

Ohhh OK...that's not to scary then....I get tired of people hurting

me.....LOL..I hurt enough on my own. I was worried that THEY would

bend me and stuff.....tho after a couple of screams....they might

stop...LOL ;) Does it take a long time?? Can ya tell me more

details? I'm headed out the door...but will be back later. :)

Goin to the Rheumy in a bit....and he squeezes to hard on my joints

(@@)....and bends things that don't bend to good anymore.

THANKS HUN!!!

Carla :)

My doctor had me fill out a long questionnaire, and then flex fingers and toes, touch my toes, move my foot in a circle, bend my knee, working up like that to see what I could do. I had to lie down and he moved my legs to put my hips through it too. Nothing hurt because he stopped, or I stopped at the point where I couldn't move past. It didn't take very long and wasn't a big deal at all.
