Guest guest
No. They just move your arms, legs, etc. through the full range of motion(if possible) to see how much you've lost. The doctor will ask you to do a bunch of stuff to see if you can bend and stretch, but you only have to go as far as you can with it. ----- Original Message ----- From: frogge Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Thursday, July 14, 2005 1:33 PM Subject: ROM Physical Hi All.....I have to go for a Range of Motion physical Monday.....have any of you done that......What do they do ....does it hurt? Guest guest
My doctor had me fill out a long questionnaire, and then flex fingers and toes, touch my toes, move my foot in a circle, bend my knee, working up like that to see what I could do. I had to lie down and he moved my legs to put my hips through it too. Nothing hurt because he stopped, or I stopped at the point where I couldn't move past. It didn't take very long and wasn't a big deal at all. ----- Original Message ----- From: frogge Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Thursday, July 14, 2005 1:51 PM Subject: Re: ROM Physical Ohhh OK...that's not to scary then....I get tired of people hurting me.....LOL..I hurt enough on my own.
