Can you tell me about your acupunture treatments? Do

you feel they are working for you? I'm going to make

an appt for myself and am nervous, but curious.

Thanks, Rie

Hi Rie,

Well, I should tell you that I am not seeing the acupuncturist for RA but for

Costochondritis (basically, inflamation around the rib cage) and I truly feel it

has helped me when nothing else did. My RA flares come and go, but I take

Humira so they are nothing like they used to be, which was chronic. So, I

can't really say if they will help your RA, sorry!

My acupuncturist is also an MD and I really like that. I feel I might be extra

sensitive to pain so for me the needles, some of them anyway, do hurt going

in, but all in all I do find it a good alternative treatment and encourage you

to

try it!

Good luck,
