Don't just sit there, let's clone the man!!

Let's hope the mold wasn't broken with this man!!!

I would give my 2 front teeth for a companion like this! Ok...maybe not my 2

front teeth but you know what I mean. hahaha

My husband thinks I should be out using the weed whacker! I can't even

straighten out my fingers! GGGRRRRR

That's the way my husband is. Of course, it was different when he had bypass surgery last year. I was still expected to take care of him and that sent me into a major flare.

Same here, my hubby had cancer surgery 3 years ago, a lump removed from his leg.

Thank goodness it has never shown up again....but boy did I have to take care of

him! I was laid off from work in Dec after working 24 years and have paid hell

for it from him ever since. I was diagnosed in Nov with RA. I knew I have had

this for years.....Seems it got worse in Jan after being laid off. Maybe the

stress of it all?

I think I do pretty good on the whole with keeping up the house, but according

to him, it's never enough...

Before I was diagnosed w/RA we didn't know

what I had. My husband said I was just lazy and I thought I had the

flu. At the time I had been working at Toys R Us from 5pm til midnight

or 5am depending on the time of year. Our son was in kindergarden..and

they went to school from 8-11 am. Sometimes I'd get home in time to say hi and bye to my

husband and in time to get our son ready for school It was a vicious

cycle sometimes. Two years prior my

mom had died. Anyways......we finally found out what was wrong..and I

started treatment. Putting up with pain for years...he finally got to

be understanding and very helpful.

Last fall he fell 15ft from a tree when hurricane Ivan was coming

here...he's had bad shoulder pain and found he has a torn rotator cuff

and has pain often. He got a depo medrol shot and he thought he was

going to die LMAO. I said welcome to my world...I've had shots for

years and I'd prefer the shots over constant pain. So he's so much more

understaning now.

I got laid off in 1998 and was already sick, but didn't know what with. The stress definitely made things worse. It will set me into a flare of gigantic proportions.

I just tell my husband if he doesn't like the way the house looks, to get the cleaning stuff out and get after it.

My wife and I have our 27th anniv this week. I joined this group just

so I could get her some good info about her RA pain, treatments, meds,

etc. (she has computer phobia, lol).

Anyway, I can honestly tell you that when she is in pain, " I'm " in pain

too - and I don't mean that sarcastically. It really hurts to see her

suffer. I guess that's one of the prices of love.

So, I hope you gals with ornery hubbies won't put up with " too " much crap!

Thanks for all the help so far,

Don & Eileen
