I go int to the doctors office to day to see what they plan on doing

to my knee as it hasn't got any better will let you all know how it

turns out wish me luck as I hope to get a new knee soon as the one I

have is bone on bone and I can't hardly walk now

I have fought insomnia most of my life; but, went on sleeping pills some years ago because I figured if I didn't get any sleep you might as well put me in the phsyc ward....Then, during and right after treatment the first time, I developed an even worse problem with sleep. I am still lucky on most evenings to get 4 good hours and then doze on and off. However, I did get my pills up and although I try very hard not to get used to taking 2, I sometimes have to. Usually, I take the first one and if my mind is still, I'll get that 4 hours. Then, when I do wake up, and don't immediately go back to sleep, I take another half!!Gloria

Well I saw my new doctor on Friday I have to have labs done Monday morning I was going to go yesterday but didn't remember to go until after my coffee and medicine ...oops(I have to fast) I have been up since 3am and miss the days I used to be able to sleep 8-12 hours straight...I have heard some of you talk about days & nights getting mixed up and I wish that were my problem then at least I would be sleeping during the day which is not the case...I take ambien at night and it helps me fall asleep but I wake up after 2-3 hours...also my doctor is referring me to the liver clinic which sounds hopeful? I live in northern California on the coast (Humboldt county) which is pretty rural so I was surprised to hear we had a liver clinic.
