Guest guest
Hello, i am getting really bad constipation during chelation (happened twice, and the pain was severe enough i was considering going to a hospital...). I successfully overcame that problem during my last DMSA round with lactulose syrop. Yet my question is: is using it risky during chelation rounds? (on the " off " days the problems with constipation dissapear). My main concern is whether lactulose could affect DMSA absorption in the intestines, since it has such a strong anti-constipation effect, and in result, cause greater heavy metal redistribution due infrequent amounts of DMSA in the body, excluding the intestines. I would be really greatful for some responses... (and i think that knowing lactulose is safe during chelation would be helpful for other groups members having the same problem). I am currently doing 3 day rounds, 4 days off, with 50mg DMSA every 3 hours. Paradoxically, when i tried chelation with 75 mg of DMSA, there were no constipation problems, yet that dosage came out to be still to big for me right now. I do take a lot of dietary fiber (>20-30g daily), probiotics, and anticandida herbs (cat's claw, caprylic acid, curcumin), so thats not enough in my case... Thanks in advance for some responses.
