Guest guest
My son (5yr) is under DMSA chelation only (ALA not added yet). Since last 2 months or so, we see him pressing his left hand finger against his left eye - and trying to see things. Not always, sometimes. We met a pediatric eye doctor 2 times and both the time he assured there is no problem, and prescribed drops for eye allergy/infection. Now putting those drops regularly is a struggle. Before we plan to explore more options, I wanted to know if you have had similar experiences, and what could this possibly be? Thanks a lot. Guest guest
It's probably a food intolerance. I get the eye pains when I eat wheat. My food intolerances get much worse when I am very yeasty - I start getting intolerant to almost everything, it's awful. It is possible that you need a stronger yeast protocol. > > My son (5yr) is under DMSA chelation only (ALA not added yet). At my house, my kids would rub their eyes and press on the corners when they had a yeast overgrowth issue. Pressing and poking on the eyeball is a sign of calcium deficiency. Guest guest
Bikram, My son did/does this when his yeast is out of control and he is low in zinc/CLO. Try upping those supplements. > > My son (5yr) is under DMSA chelation only (ALA not added yet). Guest guest
My son has had that problem for years, his doctors said that it was a calming effect that they do for their over stimulation problems. I went nuts trying to figure that one out. Vin > > My son (5yr) is under DMSA chelation only (ALA not added yet). Guest guest
Dana, I have read that poking the eyes is a sign of free serum calcium which causes inflammation and pain in the eye nerves (or other places). Now l am confused... Isa Enviado desde mi oficina móvil BlackBerry® de Telcel [ ] Re: Pressing finger against side of his eye - Is this a problem? Guest guest
My son this has done this in phases. He was doing it again after not having done it for a long time. A recent change was a big yeast flare. So, I attribute it to yeast and possibly oxalates since I believe yeast might create oxalate crystals. > > > > My son (5yr) is under DMSA chelation only (ALA not added yet). Now l am confused... I have not read that, but free floating calcium may be because it is not being properly absorbed, so the overall effect is calcium deficiency. Guest guest
My son does this when his calcium is too low. Blessings,
