Hi ,

Have you had the BRCA 1,2 testing done? It's a blood test to check for genetic

factors. There's financial help if insurance doesn't cover it.

Hi friends,

I get Mercola's daily type email. Well, one I got the other day scares me, and I

wonder if it's true about mammograms being more harmful than good. I have one

scheduled for Thurs, 12/29. I am in the high risk category because of my 2

sisters. Does anyone have any input?

I have not had that BRCA testing done but mt sister has. It came back negative.

One less thing to worry about, I guess. And you mentioned the Askenazi Jews..

how do you know this? The tester asked if there was a possibility we could be

that.. I couldn't honestly answer that. My grandfather (from accounts) roamed

over Russia and Lithuania before settling in Lithuania with my grandmother

before immigrating in 1920. All this genetic stuff scares me..
