Guest guest
If you had fourteen amalgams removed, and then did not chelate for a few years you are mercury toxic. All the abnormal testing indicates that. And the trial chelation with urine metals, doesn't always show ala because ala can be dumped in stool, and sometime it isn't dumped for a while. And a hair test that almost meets rules....counts. Adrenal Support thyroid treatment and more Andy Cutler Low dose chelation with dmsa/ala. Guest guest
Was it a DDI hair elements test? Did it meet counting rules? S S mercury toxic or other things ? Posted by: " robekb2 " robekb@... robekb2 Mon Jun 14, 2010 11:06 am (PDT) Hello everyone. I think I have a mercury related problem. Also my doc told me my test results resemble in some way the autistic children's test results, although they are not that extreme. Hopefully then, someone on this forum might be able to sort this out. I am basically trying to find out whether it is mercury (i had about 14 amalgams removed some 8 years ago) that is stirring up my metabolism (mostly to be seen in tests, as apart from glaucoma I do not have health complaints), or it is something else ? Here is a short list with my comments (i wrote down only outliers, the remainer is about mid of the range): 1. WBC 3.70 (norm 4.0-10.8) - persistently low, improved temporarily after taking iodine, no clue ?? 2. neutrophil number 1.90 (1.80-7.70) 3. lymphocytes number 1.30 (1.0-5.0) 4. glucose 74 (70-104) 5. insulin 4.9 (6.0-28.4) - i don't think i have hypoglycemia symptoms 6. globulins beta 1 (%) 7.50 (9.20-12.50) - iron metabolism, mercury effect ? 7. TSH 3.20 (0.55-3.0) - a bit hypothyroid 8. FT3 2.30 (2.0-4.2) 9. FT4 1.00 (0.8-1.8) - a bit low with FT4 given the TSH, mercury ? 10. ALT 30 (10-32) - TCM doc says I have " liver heat " 11. homocystein 14 (6-12) - lack of B12, weak methylation, mercury ? 12. DHEA 23 (1.4-12.5) but saliva total cortisol ok, moderate adrenal fatigue, because 24h cortisol shows slight imbalance ? 13. saliva IgA - below norm 14. CD3/CD19 (Total B CD19+) 11 (20-25) no clue ??, when mercury toxic, B count would be usually high ? 15. CD16+/CD56+ (Total NK) 16 (20-30) mercury ? 16. hair test almost showed deraged mineral transport (but not by DD, I had to recalculate from other lab test) 17. deficiency in selenium 18. used to be bromide toxic (24h urine showed 17mg) 19. urine heavy metal test on trial frequent-dose chelation showed elevated lead 20. hair test showed elevated nickel 21. uriporphyrins showed slight mercury toxicity 22. low picolinate on Metametrix metabolic profile - no clue ? 23. low sulfate on Metametrix metabolix profile - sulfuration not working correctly ?, mercury ? 24. a-hydroxybutyrate below detection limit - glutathione production impaired ?, mercury ? 25. low glutathione - limited detoxification capacity, mercury ? 26. symptoms: glaucoma, red eyes at night, especially in the mornings Any clues from this puzzle above ? BTW I did a trial frequent-dose chelation with DMSA 100mg + ALA 100mg for 3 days, every 4h (as I understand now the frequency should have been 3h for ALA) with a urine heavy metal test 24h (during chelation), albeit the test yielded only elevated lead, mercury nothing significant. Guest guest
Many thanks everyone for your comments, I think i will stick with chelation, as the uroporhyrin test was showing mercury toxicity. And i have found locally inexpensive mercury test for urine which I can utilize to check occasionally. The hair test was not DDI, I have recalculated it into DDI ranges, I had the couting rule " almost " met (which is except the check for one element which was not on my report, but was used on DDI).
