My NT 8 yr old daughter has just completed her 53rd round of 20mg dmsa and 20mg ALA this weekend. On Saturday, I looked out the window and my daughter got on her friends bike and just started pedaling away!! This is the kid who gets nervous when riding her bike with training wheels. She is so excited and has been riding her bike without training wheels all weekend. I am so happy. Her mood this round was a little sensitive at times but not near as moody. Her meltdowns are less and seems to be more focused and less spacy. We are in the process of working with a behavioral therapist to help with her anxiety and aggression issues towards her little sister. I feel that this is the final piece to the puzzle. We will probably continue to chelate through the summer and then stop. This has been a three year bio-med journey for us and for all those starting -hang in there it is well worth it. Yeast and bacteria issues are down at the moment and hopefully will continue to stay this way. We give her less supplements now than when we first started this journey. We are also off the gluten free diet. Thanks for everyone who has helped me along the way. Sheila
