Guest guest
hi, my oldest lad drank it straight off the spoon, my little girl, we mixed it with orange juice - the good stuff can be a bit peppery - and we syringed it in followed by a treat to take the texture/taste away asap. Its supposed to be a good idea to give with a carrot/pineapple/beet fresh juice combo (47%/47%/6%) in the morning. My kidz did this regularly for a while but I must admit I havent seen anything amazing from it, and we have had some issues with the phenols in the olive oil, but lots of other people had lots of success so irs well worth a go, we had particularly resistant constipation at this house. hth emma mum to 1 DD with DCD, 2 DS with ASD > > I am intrigued by this. Guest guest
I put 2 T olive oil in a glass and have him drink it. He burps within minutes and then he gets happy and giggly again. The first few days we tried it, he was pooping. Now, I think he's constipated again. Maybe he needs more oil? I don't know yet. Deb > > I am intrigued by this. Guest guest
Mix olive oil or extra virgin olive oil in salad dressings, sauces, curries, on top of vegetables or on top of meat as part of a marinade. My son doesn't notice and his diet includes only about 10 tolerable and likable food items due to olfactory issues. You can put in a spray bottle and spritz it on for a light and even distribution and you won't have to worry about over doing it.
