You can't always go with the UTM tests. Depending on how long you collect

for, you can miss a big metal dump. Sometimes we saw nothing, sometimes we

saw tons!! We've done oral and IV chelation and the best pull my son ever

had was with oral dmsa/ala

We've been chelating for a year and have never done one. This test isn't

necessary unless you have some other reason for doing it. (Prove to a spouse

something is happening etc.) Many people like to have proof in numbers that

chelation is working, but the test is just for that.

I KNOW that chelation is doing good stuff for us. I look at behavior first of

all but also skin tone, how often and how sick my son gets when stuff goes

around, how our yeast issues are going etc.

More important that you pay attention to behaviors. Are those improving? You may

not see anything for the first 10 or so rounds...this is a marathon, not a

sprint.

Do you chelate every weekend? I'm finding this to be very stressful for both my

son and I for the night time wakings. Any secrets?

The UTM test is not important. You should be going by symptoms. Are you having

positive results?

Did you do a hair test to determine you needed to chelate?

If you are giving the chelators properly, metal is coming out. Don't let the

testing mislead you.

I think they are very similar. Are you using ALA? It is important because it

crosses the blood-brain-barrier and removes metals from the brain.

Are you seeing some positive results?

i am doing DMSA & ALA 5mg of each (he is 42lb), we did our third round (4 days

on 3 days off). not bad overall except some tantrum & meltdown however no sign

of yeast so far because he is on Child brain YEAST PROTOCOL WHICH I think it is

working and beside of ACE and different variety of supplements.

We try to do every 2 weeks. While my son doesn't have any problems since he

doesn't wake up...I have difficulty sleeping on chelation nights so every 2

weeks is the best I can do.

We have taken 2 breaks of 1 month each as well. Last year during the holidays

because of multiple family visits and last April because of illness of both my

son and I.

So in one year, we've only done 20 rounds.

You need as many days off. We do 3 days on 4 days off.
