I can see where raw dairy might help with the intestinal flora, but if one is

casein allergic, I do not recommend any type of dairy, raw or not.

Maybe asking the obvious here, but was your son drinking raw milk before he was

dx'd?

We did raw milk, it was good, but not a cure for Autism. Raw milk won't get the

metals out.

Coconut milk is non dairy and almost as good as raw dairy and if you have a

true beta casean allergy than it is a wonderful substitute as it contains

medium chain fatty acids like he are milk and they are very anti fungal and

such… good stuff

Medium chain fatty acids(MCFA) are what make coconut products so good and

goat and sheep milk has like 30% of its fats are MCFA..2x that of cow dairy.

So raw cow milk is good, raw goat milk is 2 times as good.

Have you tried raw goat milk or just raw cow milk? Huge difference in

medium chain fatty acids profiles.

MY SON HAD NO DAIRY at al rally from a vey early age when we realized that

even as I NUSED HIM I COULD NOT EVEN DRINK MILK. SO NO he was never a RAW

milk drinker before…as we assumed like many others at the time.. milk was

milk and if he was allergic or intolerant then he was that was it. WRONG>

Our 1st experience was 1½ years ago on raw cow and it was amazing no issues

at all…but no recovery either… he could finally eat dairy and I made yogurt

and cheese and he did well but it was nothing like the RAW GOAT MILK , that

was like the cure.(compare the composition of the two and look up each

ingredient and you will know why most the world drinks RAW GOAT MILK). and

It has so many antioxidants that yes it does get the metals out… Not to

mention tons of B vitamins and minerals .. selenium and such.. if open your

mind…. You can heal your kids. You have to look at a bigger and bigger

picture. Look at our foods why they are deficient, why the animals are

deficient. I cross reference all sorts of info and look for patterns and you

see where to go.. you are what you eat too and our goats are feed well,

maybe that makes a difference.

So I think it is important to say if you didn’t get as good of a result…

then why… just like supplements. Sometimes it is dose sometimes you need

something different. Even in the goat breeds the milk varies very much.

Goats and sheep have in general higher butterfat(where all the good stuff

are) than cows, but even goats can range from 4% butterfat to 8-10%

butterfat depending on breed. My dwarf Nigerians are the little cheese

makers of goats as the produce the highest butterfat of goats and they are

no bigger than most house hold dogs and give 1-2 qts a day of fresh raw

creamy milk. No I don’t sell goats I just love what mine have done and they

are important members of our family.

If you read the article it says that autistics are likely not truly allergic

to dairy at all .. it's the pasteurization they don't deal with. This was

the case with my son. I have written about how I could not even nurse and

drink dairy at the same time . my son was that sensitive .. now he is healed

from the raw version. . wants it warm just filtered and calls his favorite

drink .sweet milk (our raw goat milk). He is most talkative and the best

change in eye contact is when he drinks it warm and fresh . hand on the

bible. Like the antidote was in it!

It was not the milk. it was what WE were doing to it that is not good for

them.

Goat milk as traces of A2 Casein and Cow's Milk has more than traces of A2

Casein. A2 Casein is what most people are allergic to. It does not come with

pasteurization, rather it comes with being a cow or a goat.

The point of the article is your child is most likely not allergic to casein

… if it were from raw milk and although coconut milk(and oil.. love it!) are

really great and healthy options…. They are not nutritionally the same as

milk… the enzymes, vitamins, minerals are different and you are passing on

good (actually better) somewhat different mix of medium chain fatty acids

on top of the lactic acid bacteria any kefir(water, milk, coconut) brings to

heal and then repopulate the gut.

I have been studying A1 and A2 for a few months now and I am glad that I

have goats because I do think that is what makes part of the difference in

the results you see in raw goats milk and raw cow’s milk. But even if you

get a Jersey /Gurnsey that is likely to be A2 and fine and you still don’t

get a recovery if you pasteurize it. The test for complete pasteurization is

a tests for the elimination of the enzymes to make sure everything is dead.

So pasteurized milk is adulterated milk. The casein the fat the protein all

have been proven to change at high tems not to mention ultra pasteurization.

Studies suggest the bioavailability of the nutrients in a raw state like

many other foods is just different.. like veggies and fruits. So yes that

can factor in on why goat is better but that does not say why raw cow

milkis better over pasteurized cow milk… and it obviously is very different

if our kids digest it different. Another thing to really look at is the %

of MCFA and the combination. The butterfat also helps in the absorption of

fat soluble vitamins and so higher butterfat better absorption. The trace

mineral make up is different as well. So there are many factors.

Historically SPEAKING SHEEP AND GOAT MILK HAS ALWAYS BEEN COSIDERED CLOSER

TO MOTHERS MILK AND HEATHIER. SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS

Goat milk as traces of A2 Casein and Cow's Milk has more than traces of A2

Casein. A2 Casein is what most people are allergic to. It does not come with

pasteurization, rather it comes with being a cow or a goat.

Google Wisconsin and raw milk. Our state just lost a bid for a bill to allow

sales of raw milk. There are several blogs and groups that have popped up

because of it, and my guess is lots of states have their own organized groups

(big or small). The Governor (soon to be gone; yeah!) indicated he would sign

the Bill and then backed out at the last second due to pressure from the

commercial dairy industry.

Even though I am unlikely to purchase raw milk, I believe we have that right.

Stinks that it is underground like it is here. People are very protective of

their sources so it is hard to find a good supplier.

Easier to buy cocaine and heroin! Sad.

Wisconsin Alliance for Raw Milk is the FB site.

well, the info in this thread got me curious and i started googling. what i

read was convincing enough that i bought some raw goat's milk today for my three

kids who have been SCD since march 10, 2009 (well over 1 year). they have been

" drinking " pasteurized goat's milk that i had fermented into yogurt for over 24

hours. but i am interested to see how they do on the raw goat's milk.

they did relatively well on pasteurized goat's milki before SCD.

I know I have been following it. I would suspect if it was that hard to

find and the farmers are fighting that hard.. they have seen what their

medicine can do.
