Guest guest
Hi We are just starting out also and we are starting with just DMSA. My son just started kindergarten and I put off taking him for his physical until they asked me to. He had had most of his shots until about 2 years ago when I stopped allowing them. When we went to the doctor last week he was due for 4. My doctor drew blood to check for titers on the MMR and varicella so Im keeping my fingers crossed about that but I did have to give him Polio and DTap. So my question is how long should we wait before adding the ALA? Thanks in advance!!! Liz
Guest guest
Hi Liz I did exactly the same thing at the Pediatrician's office earlier this year. I'm afraid you can't start the ALA until three months after the shots. DMSA is ok a couple of days later but you're going to have to wait to start the ALA. Going forward though if you want to continue to chelate you are not going to be able to give your ds any more shots and so you will need to think about that. Good luck, we are now on round 11 of both DMSA and ALA and all going well. > > Hi > We are just starting out also and we are starting with just DMSA. Guest guest
Oh wow 3 months? I didnt realize it would be that long. Any reason why? I was so excited to start. Is it worth giving the DMSA still or should we hold off? 11 rounds for you? How is everthing going? Seeing anything happening yet. Thanks for the feedback. Guest guest
Hi Liz Blood levels of mercury will be too high if you have had a recent vaccine to use a chelator that crosses the blood brain barrier (ALA). You can use DMSA or DMPS 4 days after amalgam removal or exposure though. Do get going with the DMSA though it will help bring the burden down in the body. We have seen small improvements but have only completed two rounds with both DMSA and ALA as we did 9 rounds with just DMSA. Good luck > > > > > > Hi > > > We are just starting out also and we are starting with just DMSA. My son just started kindergarten and I put off taking him for his physical until they asked me to. If he hasn't had any vaccines/fillings in the last 3 months then you may start ALA. > Thanks in advance!!! > Liz >
Guest guest
WHY did you have to? Why would you? Why are you trying to chelate if you are only going to put the crap back into him? > > Hi > We are just starting out also and we are starting with just DMSA. Guest guest
Why on earth would you consider giving your little one more poisons?!?? It was ONLY a 6y DPT that tipped the scales and threw my daughter into the abyss. She's 25y now and NOT recovered. Please reconsider this foolish pathway. > > > > Hi > > We are just starting out also and we are starting with just DMSA. Guest guest
Believe me I know I was sick over it. They only gave me the option of doing titers on the MMR and Varicella. I didnt think He even needed any others. Went in there not having done my homework on those shots. The only consolation I have is that I take my son for NAET treatments. When I had spoken to my NAET provider he had told me if my son has to get any shots to bring him in that day and he will do a treatment for it. So I did. I was told by the Dr that the DTap could give him fever and to give him tylanol. I didnt give it to him and he never got a fever. I hope and pray that the NAET helped and that his titers are good for the other two shots. How do you fight them if they come up not immune? I dont think I can try the religious route now. > > > > > > Hi > > > We are just starting out also and we are starting with just DMSA. Guest guest
You didn't have to give him polio and DTaP. Find out what the exemptions are for your state. Guest guest
It's very simple, just say no. I don't know what state you live in, but I think there are only two that actually require immunizations in order to go to public school. All the other states you just sign a waiver, religious or " other " reasons. Guest guest
> > It's very simple, just say no. This is correct. No matter what. Just refuse to do it. The school officials routinely lie through their teeth about the law, look it up on the web yourself. If they get obnoxious, tell them you'll just have to home school him. Even if you can't do it, THEY don't know that! If you homeschool him, then they don't get their $50 grand or so from the state for educating a kid who needs an IEP. They really do want to find a way to have him in school. You just need to negotiate properly. The first step is to make it clear " no vaccines, ever, no matter what " is a non negotiable demand and your child's medical care is between you and the pediatrician, the school can butt out!
