cold/sweaty hand and feet, does not sweat, does not enjoy the outdoors too much.

A few months back, he would have yellowish feet and palms, if he ate food that

contained carotine like carrots and sweet potatoes. He has one teeth that is

crooked/misalligned and generally we feel that he is not growing as he should

be. His height is in the 10th percentile. Weight seems to be OK in the 40th-50th

percentile at 27.8 lbs. Please help me in determining whether the thyroid is a

problem.

Carotenes require thyroid hormone for proper digestion/absorption, so that is

one sign of hypothyroid issues. Some of the other things you wrote here, can

also be thyroid issues.

I corrected thyroid issues at my house with selenium, iodine, and tyrosine.

>>We havent talked to the DAN doctor or his PED yet about it. Should i postpone

plans for mercury detox until this is taken care of?

I chelated before addressing thyroid issues.

When my son was younger (he is almost 11) he also did not grow until we did SCD

(specific carbohydrate diet). We started GF/CF when he was about 2 1/2 yrs and

found out there was alot he could not tolerate. We switched to SCD when he was 3

1/2 yrs and within a few months we were finally able to buy him the next size up

in shoes and clothing (he was in the same size for about 2 yrs). We did SCD

until he was about 5 1/2 (I had a baby and just could not do everything so we

stopped). He also could not regulate his body temperature well back then (in the

winter the house was cold because he was always hot and sweaty). Currently we

are AC chelation with him and our 5 yr old daughter and seeing really great

things.

> Hi smart people,

> My son turned 2 in May and he was diagnosed in Feburary with ASD. The severity

of the autism was not specified. He is completely non-verbal, does not even say

mama dada and no babbling. He lost his babbling at around 15 months of age and

hasnt babbled since then.

> Ok so we are considering chelating him using the AC protocol. We are in the

process of preparing for it. His blood work was done around April of this year

and here are his thyroid results.

to take armour thyroid and pursue A/C chelation at the same time? DANA, JAN,

please help.
