Guest guest
Hi I'm new to all this and sometimes very confused. We have a 4 year autistic boy. His speech is delayed, can't tolerate some sounds, don't sleep very well at all and has behavior issues (throw stuff around, crying, kicking and screaming, taking off his clothes and constantly fighting with his 6 year old brother) which drives me up the wall. The psychologist suggest Risperdal but don't feel comfortable giving it to my child. We are looking at the biomed diet and supplements (Zinc, vit B complex, digestive enzymes and melatonin). He is on a pro-biotic (given in the morning) for 2 years now and not constipated since then. He been on omega 3 supplements for 2 months now and there is a 100% improvement on his work at nursery school. Also on a multi-vitamin for about 2 weeks. How do I know if he got yeast? How to handle the behavior issues? And other suggestions? Thank you
Guest guest
Ultimately chelation is probably the answer. Most of us here have found that our kids have mercury, lead, and other metals in the brain and internal organs causing all the problems you are describing. You can treat the symptoms, like yeast and not sleeping, vitamin deficiencies, etc...but they will never go away if you don't treat the root cause, which is the metals. Please go to the files section here on the group and read about the Andy Cutler protocol of chelation. This will change your life. I have a 5.5 year old boy that had many of the behaviors you describe. After 1.5 years of chelation he has lost his ASD diagnosis, he is now considered PDD-NOS, and getting better all the time. He will be going to Kindergarten next year with minimal help. Several of those issues meant yeast at my house http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm >>Also on a multi-vitamin for about 2 weeks. This will tend to increase yeast. > How do I know if he got yeast? Guest guest
Hi Dana I've increased the probiotics from Tuesday, but divided the dosage in 2, giving in the morning and before bedtime. He suddenly sleeps better, he falls asleep very easy and he will sleep till 3 or 4 in the morning in his own bed. And as from Friday his moods are better as well. No behavior issues over the weekend. Thanks so much for your advice. I'll keep you posted.
