He doesn't take any anti-bacterial. It is really neat that with everything you

answer, you would remember about him. He finished with a round of augmentin that

seemed to help, but now the stuffiness and pain are back. He is now on

1/2mg.risperdal(they are trying to get him off this), 50mg. elavil(for migraine

pain), and some spray for allergies, and ibuprophen once a day to head off the

pain and headbanging. Ice pack seems to help. Do I need to get a referral to an

ENT. He will be having panoramic xrays to check for abcesses, impacted wisdom

teeth, etc. on July 6th if it can wait that long.

Any suggestions? What type of anti-bacterial or yeast aid could I give?  Do I

need to give charcoal afterwards. Should I still be trying to get vitamins in

him? Also giving Rescue Remedy when he actually has a meltdown.

Thanks,

Drissia

Yes, and I increased the yeast protocol. Because of your son's history tho, you

might need to increase anti-bacterials.

tooth pain. He is scheduled for the dentist in 2 weeks. My other son had to have

impacted wisdom teeth removed at 17. Does it sound reasonable?

I suppose it is reasonable, altho I had impacted wisdom teeth removed when I was

13, and they didn't hurt. But if they are infected, I can see that they would

hurt.

Thanks. I'll try it. I have vit b complex, sublingual. Will that do for the vit.

b6 or does that need to be given by itself?

I'm sorry, that must be awful for you and him to be going through this. Just

recently I asked a bunch of my friends what to do about head banging and I got

the following suggestions:

500mg Vitamin C twice daily

Zinc

Vitamin B6

Magnesium (epsom salt baths)

Lithium Orotate

Milk Thistle

Cod Liver oil (or Vit A and D separate from cod liver oil source)

Vit E

IMO, it is probably gut or liver related causing headaches, I would be surprised

if it was teeth bothering him but of course it happens and it's worth checking

out.

Don't know what helps, if anything. Ice packs seem to help once the headache

occurs. I can't tell that anything prevents these attacks. I am trying to write

down what I am giving, but it seems like nothing is effecting it or making it

worse. Could it be withdrawal from the Risperdone? Could it be that he has

started eating kfc 2x a day or the white potatoes he eats with it?

Don't know what's in the rescue remedy. Can't read the print. All I know is it

seems to calm him down temorarily. It says it is a natural stress relief.

Try OLE

>>Do I need to give charcoal afterwards.

If you didn't need charcoal with the Augmentin, you probably won't need it with

the OLE.

Do they help?

>>Also giving Rescue Remedy when he actually has a meltdown.

Does that help? If so, what are the ingredients?

Never thought of the no-fenol. How much would I need to give? I think I have

some of that here or the stuff made by Kirkman. I also have some AFPeptizyde.

The only thing I tried was the Trienza and couldn't tell because that was about

the time this all exploded. I ended up taking away the stuff that had worked

before, because I didn't know what was ok and what wasn't.

The spices used by KFC would have caused problems for my son. Do you give

No-Fenol enzyme with the KFC?

It would be helpful to know what it contains. Can someone help you read the

label?

Where do I find that?

Rescue Remedy is from the Bach flower range - there are 38 individual remedies

each adressing a particular emotional state. The remedies are usually made by

placing the flowers in water and exposing to sunlight or boiling. Then in a

similar way to homoeopathic medicines this concentrate is diluted into

individual bottles. It is usually in an alcohol base for the preservative

affect.

In Rescue remedy there is a mix of 5 flowers which address the most common

emotions felt during traumatic or stressful situations. Impatiens is the flower

in there to help with pain, irritibility and isolation. Rock Rose helps with

fear and terror of the moment, Star of Bethlehem helps shock, Cherry Plum eases

panic and calms the hysterical mind, and Clematis helps the person to stay

present instead of numbing or fainting.

If he responds to Rescue Remedy he may also benefit from an individualised

flower remedy mix which is taken on a daily basis.
