Guest guest
I would expect lithium orotate to help with mood swings. It was a big help for both my kids after we had started chelating awhile and they were both having issues being defiant, fighting, and having adrenaline surges in general. I honestly think that what it does is help glucose metabolism in the brain and that helps our kids' blood sugar to be more stable. > > I recently posted about my 5 year old son's recent homeopathic doctor appointment and it's conflict with chelation. I mentioned he has mood swings a lot and I got a lot of feed back on things like lithium, ACE, yeast protocol, etc. These are all these we are or have tried, in addition to the homeopathic remedy that was recently recommended. > > Anyway, without going into all of our history all over again, I am just confused about his behaviors lately. As I mentioned, he has always been prone to mood swings, control issues, some non-compliance occasionally....well, for the past three days, I have had him out non-stop (which is NOT like us at all), going constantly except when we are home for the baby's naptime, coming home late, doing things that push his sensory to new limits, etc. We have had NO complaints AT ALL!! He's been a dream while we are out, he is polite, listens well, when we ask him to transition to something else or to stop doing something, his response is calmly, " Ok " , he has jumped into a lake, endured loud bands (Still covered ears, but didn't complain at all), ran under sprinklers, fallen under water, gotten blisters from extensive walking, gone down water slides, shared and took turns with TONS of kids, the list is endless!! He has done it all with grace, big smiles, cooperation, I am really amazed and starting to wonder, if these mood swings are reserved just for Daddy and I at home?!?! Usually he is worse when he is overtired. He has handled the late bedtimes great, gone to bed with no problems, I am just wowed!! > > Am I trying to fix something that might be a difficult personality rather than an imbalance or did we do something that is finally working? Granted, he is definitely mercury toxic from the looks of his hair test, he most definitely had yeast and clostridia along with mild levels of e.coli and strep, the tests confirm that we aren't crazy, lol, but maybe there is more to the big picture than I am catching on to? Perhaps he can control it better than either of us realized...there definitely was a time when he couldn't control these behaviors, is it possible that there is a bit of a habit or learned behavior that takes time to resolve after they start feeling better? In other words, since he used to behave that way in frustrating situations, could he be just handling the situations in the only way he knows how? This morning we had some down time at home before heading out to go boating this afternoon and he had some irritation that I thought was more of the same old stuff, but then we went out and there was not one issue with him from the minute we left the house! I don't want to up yeast protocols and increase lithium doses, etc, if this is all just a manipulative (non-intentional, of course) method of coping for him. > > All I know is that since we added lithium orotate and tried the homeopathic remedy, this child has been unbelievably different in very strained situations, although the behaviors are not gone when we are home!! > > So confused, > >
Guest guest
Hmmm, that is an interesting theory, because I noticed that in the morning, just before he eats, he's at his worst, then the rest of the day (I split 1 lithium capsule between three doses throughout the day) he is great! I think we found our magic! But what about the bloating? His bloating is down significantly too and the only two things I have added recently are the homeopathic constitutional remedy and lithium about a week or two prior to the homeopathy. The bloating didn't go away until we gave the homeopathic remedy....Could it take a week or two for the lithium to work like that, or does it even have anything to do with bloating? I am trying to determine if the homeopathy has a hand in all this. > > > > I recently posted about my 5 year old son's recent homeopathic doctor appointment and it's conflict with chelation.
