Guest guest
have you tried magnesium malate? other forms of magnesium are reputed to feed stealth l-form bacteria infections. same issue with any vitamin d if you have any issue with l-form bacteria. > > My hair test shows deranged mineral transport and I'm wondering if that is causing this. I can't tolerate oral magnesium, B12 or even 1000iu of vit d. I become exhausted for days from even 50mg of oral magnesium or 1000mcg of B12. Does anyone have any thoughts on why this would be? Or anything I can do? I started taking calcium, but still can only tolerate a small amount of transdermal magnesium oil. I also take milk thistle, vitamin E, a b complex, zinc, cod liver oil, digestive enzymes, molybdenum and vitamin C. I'm on my 4th round of 25 mg each of DMSA and ALA and feel really good. Guest guest
I will look into the malate. I've tried citrate and glycinate. What are the treatments for L-bacteria? Thanks for your time! Guest guest
still working on that a bit. I used SSKI a form of iodine and chanca piedra extract to vit d receptors in my son and myself, together with rife. the l form bacteria is a more gradual process. taking variety of supplements, many designed to clean out a variety of metals, including the following the cutler protocol. less metals means better immunity. > > > > > > My hair test shows deranged mineral transport and I'm wondering if that is causing this. Guest guest
My son is the same way. I have asked multiple times but noone has ever answered my questions. My son cannot tolerate magnesium, calcium, or zinc. He loses all attention (what little he has) and ability to focus. This is the first time I ever heard anyone mention magnesium causing any type of bacteria. Do you have any other information on this? I believe I have tried all types... > > > > My hair test shows deranged mineral transport and I'm wondering if that is causing this. I can't tolerate oral magnesium, B12 or even 1000iu of vit d. Guest guest
- this is a very new and murky area of research. Here is some information: http://bacteriality.com/2007/08/15/l-forms/ but we also must remember that some metals are used by organisms, including in biofilms. this includes things like calcium, copper, mercury, lead etc. > > > > > > My hair test shows deranged mineral transport and I'm wondering if that is causing this. Guest guest
, Thanks for the post. Is this connected to the " biofilm protocol " that Dr. Usman has documented? She suggests using enzymes (to break up the biofilm - which could contain calcium,...) and chelators (I believe EDTA) to dislodge the metals so the bugs are then exposed to the immune system. > > > > > > > > My hair test shows deranged mineral transport and I'm wondering if that is causing this. Guest guest
I believe there is a relationship. I used the kirkman labs biofilm enzymes for months, but was not chelating at the time. I suspect that Cutler protocal with the biofilm enzymes would be better than enzymes alone. I don't think I would do edta. these pathogens are very adept at hiding from the immune system. using metals in biofilms appears to part of the mechanism. > > > > > > > > > > My hair test shows deranged mineral transport and I'm wondering if that is causing this. Guest guest
Not Dana, but if you have been taking mag and still have the symptoms of mag deficiency, (sore muscles, constipation), then you should try taurine with it and see if the symptoms resolve. Guest guest
I started taurine today and am feeling fine on it. I already take folate and B2 so I'll look into carnitine as well. Guest guest
A symptom of magnesium, calcium, and zinc deficiencies is low attention. My son's attention is very bad and gets worse - even with very small doses of any of these supplements. I tried magnesium taurate (which I believe contains taurine?) and it had the same effect - bad. > > > > My hair test shows deranged mineral transport and I'm wondering if that is causing this. Guest guest
In searching for more info a google search shows that carnitine can impede the body's ability to use thyroid hormone. Anyone know if this is true? I'm hypothyroid so I don't want to use anything that could make it worse. Joy > > My hair test shows deranged mineral transport and I'm wondering if that is causing this. Guest guest
> Dana - How did you know you needed taurine? Whenever I took magnesium, I always got a major bad headache. But I kept trying every once in a while, because of muscle cramps and constipation issues. I started mito cocktail for my kids, to address their fat absorption issues [which worked really well]. I started it for me also, one supp at a time. I noticed that when I added taurine, I was able to also take magnesium without getting a really bad headache, and my magnesium-deficiency symptoms disappeared. Guest guest
Dana and all, I am new here, tried to get some help earlier, but was unlucky. I thought I'll give another try. Dana, Kids with CBS mutation will do horrible on Taurine(Yasko) since I have read this I gave up the idea to supplement Taurine on my son though he is deficient in that. How do you know, which supplement to give before another(in order to make it tolerable for the body)like B12. My son regressed on MB12, had no clue why? The only explanation the Dan! gave was may be he is very toxic. Thanks, Sasmita > > I started taurine today and am feeling fine on it. You might ask your DAN!. I hear that if you take the cyano... the body will have to use some of its detox resources to remove the resulting cyanide! I wonder if the methyl... will be helpful if the person is an undermethylator--supposedly a significant majority of autistic people, maybe unless the person has issues with methyl trapping. It seems quite complex! http://alternativementalhealth.com/articles/walsh.htm#Au http://alternativementalhealth.com/articles/walshMP.htm#Met http://www.alternativementalhealth.com/articles/walshQZ.htm#Ta http://alternativementalhealth.com/articles/default.htm#Au

Did you use anti-inflammatories or charcoal or other supplements ? Anyone else ? Mo
