Guest guest
I can't comment on the reflux, but I don't believe chelation will adversely effect it. The main thing to do when chelating is to take antioxidants. Vitamin C and E are good ones. A good multi is helpful, we use Jarrow multi easy. Also, chelation can kick up the yeast due to the metals traveling though the gut on the way out, so a good yeast protocol is recommended. We use biotin and Grapefruit Seed Extract, plus probiotics. TJ ________________________________ From: <twins_oh_my@...> Sent: Fri, March 19, 2010 7:45:20 AM Subject: [ ] New and getting ready to start chelation, have questions  Hi all, just wanted to do a quick introduction and also ask some questions before we get started with chelation. My ID twins daughters are 3 1/2, and have been on a DAN protocol for 1 year with slow, steady improvements. Along with a PDD-NOS dx we also deal with severe anxiety, no speech, and global development delays (example: they didn't walk independently until 21 months). I have backed out of starting DAN chelation several times, but after researching AC I really think it is the way to go for us. I do have a couple of specific questions that I am hoping someone can address for me: One dd has reflux and aside from the usual treatments is there any advice about chelations effects on reflux? We are on several supplements and after I get Andy's book I will tweak that to match what he suggests, but I am concerned about glutathione in particular. Three months ago we added L-Glutamine (500 mg 2xday), then two weeks later added TD Glutathione (250 mg 1xday), then one month after that added NAC to the MB12 injections. I have researched until I am exhausted and still don't know how to proceed with these particular supplements. I do have to say that since adding these we have seen really nice gains with no adverse effects. I'm really excited to get started with chelation and am loving all the information on this site! Guest guest
my boy had bad reflux. The cure was strict diet. We now do a GFCF with low oxalates veggies and low phenol fruits. Whole, organic foods. Follow the inverted pyramid thing with meats at the bottom, veggies at the top. Also used lots of digestive enzymes, probiotics, and something with L-glutamine in it. I'd bet its food intolerances, allergies, or a phenol/oxalate reaction. How does she react to apple juice - does she ever throw up ? > > I can't comment on the reflux, but I don't believe chelation will adversely effect it. > The main thing to do when chelating is to take antioxidants. Guest guest
She never would drink apple juice, but used to eat applesauce everyday with no problems. We are on a GFCFSF diet and trying to implement Body Ecology which I'm hoping will help. > > > > I can't comment on the reflux, but I don't believe chelation will adversely effect it. > > The main thing to do when chelating is to take antioxidants. Guest guest
Any reflux I feel can be food allergies. Have you had any allergy testing done? I'm doing chelation on my nt 7.5 year old for food allergies only. My next step with him will be NEAT. Digestive enzymes, supplements, probiotics, all to help resolve his issues. Guest guest
Tammy, yes we've done allergy testing and adjusted their diet. My DAN is also an ENT and has recommended NAET I'm just not sure that's the way to go for us. Do you know if you can do the shots at the same time as chelation? > > Any reflux I feel can be food allergies. Guest guest
Thanks TJ, we do all of those and more with the exception of C, we give very little C--only what is in their multi--because I think it irritates my daughter's reflux. > > I can't comment on the reflux, but I don't believe chelation will adversely effect it. > The main thing to do when chelating is to take antioxidants. Guest guest
Are you asking about the MB12 shots during chelation? We've never done shots, maybe someone else can comment on that. Personally it would try oral if at all possible or Brainchild Liquid. Many have good results with MB12, I've just never been in that place to look into it much. Sorry, can not help there. Guest guest
Great comment. Andy recommended trying chelation on him to see if it helps. So far, not, but have only done 4 true rounds, 2 failed. Once too strong, another, he got sick. But I'm in Wis and the weather is getting nice. Been thinking about starting? No luck for you? Guest guest
More time to write. Have you had any success with NAET? Gosh, in Wis and with spring, I have to travel 180 miles round trip to see an NAET person. Do you think better to go another year with chelation, I'm doing ALA only, worried about DMSA even though it looks safe for allergens. I may back up and add.....Thoughts to share there? Guest guest
NAET isn't shots. So I guess I'm not following. Let's see what 's response is to my question. He thought a good idea to do some chelation since I understand he wasn't having much luck with NAET. We will do our 5th round only this coming weekend. Guest guest
Tammy- we did over a year of NAET treatments for myself and my son, both with many food intolerances. Overall I have to be honest, the treatment was not sucessful and was rather time consuming and costly. If I were to start over, I would chelate until finished, then, if we still had issues, try NAET. I think that NAET can and does work, but not for people who have major issues that need attention first. metals would be a major issue, as would parasites. In fact the two go hand in hand and both require treatment. Parasites is not a topic that gets much discussion, but for us, it was a huge issue. Something to think about on this, some infections are known to use metals and disable the body's ability to rid itself of metals. the SV40 virus being one, but also things like Lyme bacteria, which according to Dr. Klinghardt is now present in about 90% of Americans. Does not mean you have raging lyme disease, but the bacteria are present. I can't point you to much published research here, because I don't think too many people want to look at this issue, but can tell you from personal experience that treating parasties caused huge metal dumps in me, lead and mercury, but also flouride. this was the primary reason I started chelating recently. Since I only started chelation recently, I can't speak yet to the effect on food allergies/intolerances... but I will report on it over time. > > > > Any reflux I feel can be food allergies. Guest guest
Tammy- my son is alleric/intolerant to dairy, egg, shellfish, nuts, wheat, soy and even reacts other things in food. we feed him a very controlled diet to avoid issues. the parasite cleanses, I have to say that most are way too weak to do the job. I did a few rounds of human worm myself. I think for a very mild case, it might be ok. did nothing for me, but I didn't know it until much later. I ended up turning to rife technology, and it really worked, in combination with other things. if you really want to learn about parasites, go to the " rife " forum on curezone. there are a few posters there who know more about parasites than just about anyone I have ever seen. the talk is often about conspiracies etc, but the information about parasites is dead on. best yet, the real story about how to use rife technology can be found there, and almost no where else. to clear my parasite issues (and my sons) took many months of using rife, with herbs and other supplementns. I tried many different things before landing on the rife forum, none of them did much. if you go to that forum, keep an open mind, the discussions can be a bit far out, but sometimes, the truth is scary. The beauty of rife, no allergy issues to worry about. its only frequency. no one is allergic to frequency. there is a bit of up front cost getting the right machines, but honestly, compared to the money we spent on NAET treatments, the rife equipment cost only a fraction, and did much more for us. a bargain in my mind. > > > > > > Any reflux I feel can be food allergies. Guest guest
How did you know you had parasites? I'm not convinced yet an issue here. My PPD-NOS guy at like 2 1/2 contracted campylobacter (sp?). Never sure how he got it but he was always putting something in his mouth. Not a huge surprise even though I'm a clean freak! Guest guest
Maybe direct me to your rife purchasing place and support too? I'm over at curezone now too. Guest guest
Well it was a long process in figuring it out. Two years ago my son and I were seeing a kinesiologist/chiropracter. I had been having health issues for awhile, and my son had allergies. One day I printed out a long list of parasites I found somewhere on the net, thinking that she would muscle test and that I would find one or two that were the problem, and treat them. Well that day she went down the list and I muscle tested positive for several dozen, including lyme. Of course I was not ready for that and had a melt down. Thinking it was BS and that her testing was not accurate, I stopped going to see her. Found a new chiro/kinesiologist, very well respected and conservative in approach. He did the testing, and only found one or two. we started treating them with accupuncture and herbs. passed some dead ones and knew it was real. but it was really slow. After many months, he told me that I was clear of those two, but I was still struggling with issues. Had someone else test me using another form of kinesiology. More like the first test, he found a long list of pathogens, viral, bacterial and larger parasites. same for my son. Started using rife more at about that time, and saw lots of physical evidence, in both my son and I (sorry to be graphic). Suffered the massive metal dumps during treatment. Learned a lot from the rife forum about parasites, and recently made great progress clearing them out. turns out that my first doc was probably right in her testing, I just was not ready to believe it. Also learned a fair amount about kinesiology. Some people are much better at testing than others. Also, parasites are very very adept at hiding, both from traditional medical testing (which is almost useless for most parasites) and even kinesiology. Lead and mercury hide or cloak parasites from even kinesiology testing. Metals have the same effect on the immune system. most people of course will not believe this, and I don't blame them. I didn't until fairly recently. but I saw them as treatment progressed, and I don't think there is anything special about my case. I had flukes, several different types, and others. several virus. Still have lyme bactria to deal with. anyway, none of that really answers your question, how did I know. the short answer is that I saw them. Also, got very sick while treating them. That is how I know. Don't bother with medical testing, they won't show. a very skilled kinesiology tester maybe will find them, but not always. They have to know what they are looking for, and they have to know " how " to look. > > > > How did you know you had parasites? Guest guest
Tammy- check out the " rife " forum. All the info is there. most of the forum members are using the same basic equipment. The Atelier Robin f165 frequency generator, combined with a device called the SC-1A sending device. This latter machine is like something out of science fiction. The guy that sells it won't even really tell you what it is for, just that it is an experimetal device, because of fear of the FDA. But the machine works, just ask the people who use them. they swear by it, as do I. and no, I don't sell them or anything else for that matter. I just know they work and am happy to put people on to something that worked for me. Because, other than chelation which we are doing now, there is almost nothing we have not tried. If you check out the rife forum, be skeptical, but keep an open mind. the info can take you aback at first because of some of what is discussed as far as conspiracies etc. whether true or not, I don't know. but I do know that the machines work, and no one in the that forum is trying to sell anything to anyone. As far as support, with rife, you pretty much have to rely on other forum members. There is a blog with all the pathogen specific frequencies posted. really all you need. no one out there is brave enough to charge for rife treatment for surely they would get prosecuted. > > > > > > > > Any reflux I feel can be food allergies. Guest guest
Thanks for all the info. I'm there a little. I did a 30 day round on my now 10.3 year old PPD-NOS. It was a morning and night dose. He said he felt better. I thought it couldn't hurt, especially with his past. He's doing so good now but .... we'll see. I do have a name locally of a chiro that does kinesiology here I could try. Better than driving. Appreciate all the info!
