status, low homocysteine, low mineral status and basically every out of range

element. He has been on Vitamin D3 1000 mg for months with no change in his

level. However, his calcium shot up. He has started night waking again, hand

squeezing and dealing with wild bursts of energy. He laughs a lot.

Try adding zinc and increasing the yeast protocol.

>>He still stims, doesn't speak, hums all day.

What exactly are the stims.

Humming meant yeast here.

>>I wonder if our rehabilitation lie somewhere else than chelation?

For my son, chelation was the beginning. It allowed him to tolerate the

supplements. It was the supplements that recovered him.

>>would like to add in IP6. Does anyone have any thoughts?

This is a demineralizer, I used it to remove calcium and iron toxicity.

I would say that folic acid, carnitine, and tmg are every day supplements, not

something to rotate. Avoid whey (if you are CF), many kids can't take this

either. The yeast protocol should be something you work on everyday.

his last 2 ION profiles (hair testing file ION Profile MB)hoping someone can

help me understand or offer any insight.

high copper in a hair sample. He is about 55 lbs and we have followed the AC

protocol. He is still very much non verbal (never spoke, never regressed) and

his demeanor has not changed. He stims, eats, laughs, gets upset when he has to

focus on anything but will comply. He's sweet and loving. But I haven't seen

any real changes. He still stims, doesn't speak, hums all day. I wonder if our

rehabilitation lie somewhere else than chelation? I stopped his supps for a few

days. I am now adding in BCAAs and would like to add in IP6. Does anyone have

any thoughts?

His ION profile showed calcium in the red. I don't give him calcium and the

only thing that changed was vit D3 addition. So I know it's from that. I

haven't started IP6. It's ordered and on it's way. I'll start low and move up

as needed.

Dana... thanks as always. His stims are constant humming, watching things drop,

eye bugging (this is new). Watching things reflect of the light. Spinning

objects and hand squeezing. I think he REALLY needs Vit D but I don't want to

give it to him until the calcium comes down.

I will up the yeast protocol. But every lab says it's not yeast. I don't think

3 labs could be wrong..but maybe it's in his brain and not being picked up? or

perhaps it's something else?

thanks as always..

> How often do you give IP6

I gave it 3x per day for several months.

>>and how do you know if you child is Calcium toxic?

Any time I tried to give a calcium supplement, even after he had been cf for 2

years, it caused major problems. So I tried giving IP6, and saw immediate

benefits.

Increase the yeast protocol. Might also increase zinc.

I would still try increasing the yeast protocol. If it works, you can ignore

the labs. If it doesn't work, try the zinc.

I am wondering what type of major problems? Was it hyperactivity? Thanks
