I could never get my guy until a year ago, 10 now, to swallow. We did the

chewables and they taste ok. Did you try chewables?

Hiding things didn't work here.

[ ] Help with TriEnza

Hi Everyone. I just got TriEnza and when I add it to food it liquifies it

quite a bit. I need advice on how do you give enzymes to your kids? Do you mix

it with any drinks or in a syringe? Please note that my boy has the best gag

reflex in the world and if he taste it, its back out with what ever else is in

there. Any help will be great. Thanks Simone.

HI Simone

There is a file on the Houston site about ways to give the enzymes and you

can always give them a ring for a free consult and they will talk you

through it. I give my sons in water now but in the beginning I mixed with juice

and water, shake like crazy and down in one mouthful with a toddler cup or

sports bottle.

I use chewable enzymes. For all other supps I get liquids or powders or just

open up capsules, dump it all into a spoonful of pear sauce, add a few drops of

stevia and have him take it in one gulp, washed down with the only juice he gets

during the day, and I bribe him with one tiny piece of allergen free dark

chocolate.

For chelation, I mix ALA into a few CC's of OJ or pineapple juice, to dilute to

the right mg's we need.

Can you give it to him on a spoon with apple sauce before the meal? That's

how I got my daughter to take it (or as Tammy mentioned, chewables)..

Thanks everyone. I went with the tried and true. I used the syringe with apple

juice and so far so good. Thanks again. Simone.
