Guest guest
I have a unique perspective Google livestock and selenium.. read those articles. the US has become very deficient and the recommended dose is not realistic because our food supply is so deficient in it we are barely making a dent in the bucket. I keep goats. goats are on a selenium supplementation point blank because the hay and forages are so depleted it affects the industry I think they said with 500 million a year in losses. It is a huge problem. I am also a parent of an autistic son who has made great improvements on selenium supplements(as part of a bigger diet). If we are what we eat and are livestock is deficient than we are. My son used to get every little bug and after selenium the swine flu hit his class and he was one of like 3 kids who did not get it . That brings me to Google selenium and Ebola virus, and you learn were people who have adequate trace minerals.. esp selenium. they have much better outcomes to disease. I was shocked to read this. Was Tom Cruise right when he tried to tell us we would not need to be so medicated if we were not so deficient in our vitamins and minerals.. I don't get the scientology thing but I do think he was onto something a bit there. Rochelle, you know, I am encountering the same problem with selenium as I try to get supplement dosages ready for chelation. I see that by giving a multivitamin with basic minerals I already have max selenium dose required, but not so of the other essential minerals. so I can't actually add a multimineral to cover the dosage needed of the other minerals because I would overdose the selenium. I do wonder though why they would even bother to make multis with such a high amount of selenium, if it is indeed toxic long term. also, why would New Beginnings even manufacture a toxic supplement ? they are careful. which makes me wonder whether all this selenium toxicity is really that much so. comments appreciated. Lupe > > We are trying to get the supplements ready for getting my 2 year old kid started with A/C Chelation. I ordered selenium and then realized that selenium is actually toxic. I ordered the New beginings Liquid Selenium(from ourkidsasd.com) which is a sodium selinite and is toxic. I am so glad that i decided to check it in the forums before giving it to my son. > Really makes me think whether it is worth it to do the chelation. Who knows what mistakes i can make or should i go wrong somewhere then the consequences will be really hard. > > Can anyone tell me what brand of selenium i should use and how much should be the dose for a 2 year old weighing 28lbs. > Also, what kind of molybdenum should i use? what brand of molybdenum? molybdenum with ammonia is safe or not? > Also, I was considering supplementing iodine because of suspision of some hypothyroid issues. What kind of iodine should i use and what should be the dosage for a 2 year old weighing 28lbs. Should i use tyrosine? Where can i buy the tyrosine from? what brand of tyrosine? > Thanks > Rochelle. >
