Guest guest
Thanks to you all, you're so helpful! It's for a friend of mine --she needs to take Imunovir and she's on GF diet (started recently). She started to take this med yesterday and she was throwing up two hours later. Imunovir has wheat as filler. But it could be a reaction to the drug, also. I don't think she can get it compounded. She will see if the enzymes do the trick. She has Chronic Epstein Barr Virus; her symptoms are Chronic Fatigue-like (moderate) since more than 20 years. I know (because of her past) her mercury levels are probably very high. She had several cancers in the past. I'm sooo sure that if she not chelate there is no way out of that maze for her! But I know I cannot mention chelation right away yet. If anyone has any word of wisdom about CEBV, I'll hear and I do my best to pass it on her... (Listmates, again: sorry for my English) [ ] Re: What if there is gluten in a med? Hi Madeline, Find out if there is a GF alternative. If not, either take it with HNI enzymes or see about getting it compounded without the gluten (this may only work if the individual will be on it for a while and the dose is expected to stay stable for a while. S S What if there is gluten in a med? Posted by: " Madeline Wolfe " Madeline_wolfe@... madeline_wolfe Fri Mar 12, 2010 12:04 pm (PST) Dear listmates, Anyone have some ideas about what to do if you are on a GF diet and *need* to take a med that has gluten/ wheat in it? Is there a way to counteract it --homeopathy, Bach flowers, activated charcoal... something!--? Any word of wisdom would be very appreciated, thanks in advance!
