Guest guest
Is your son ADHD -- hyper, overstimulated, trouble calming, aspergers -- in need of something to calm him down? This is what this is for... I always find it ironic when these meds are held by the same company (Lilly) that holds Thiomersal. You can always try getting lactose pellets or something similar and telling him they will help him feel better, concentrate, etc. and see what happens with the placebo effect. The mind is a wonderful thing. What's your diet like? Guest guest
Very bad for my son. Caused manic, aggressive behavior, insomnia and severe OCD. Possibly coincided with PANDAS flare though, so I'm not sure it was entirely the Strattera that was the problem. I have taken it for ADD myself and find it really does help me concentrate and be less of an airhead. It took two weeks to kick in. No major side effects for me. My son takes 10mg of extended release Adderral now. It has been a miracle for behavior issues at school and his school work has improved so much. You can really see the difference in his handwriting and note taking. It is so neat and organized now. > > My DAN prescribed Straterra for my 5 year old son. Has anyone tried it? What kind of results did you get and how long did it take to notice any changes? What about side effects? I have read information on it but I would like to hear from a parent. Thanks so much! >
Guest guest
Remember everyone that Strattera increases the risk of suicide!
