Guest guest
Hi Joe - I thought I had responded to this question before, but maybe not. There are no known interactions between CoQ10 and tryptophan (same as tryptan) - but read here http://www.drugs.com/drug-interactions/coq10-with-tryptophan-2273-12874-2568-0.html Luv - Sheila I have a question about using CoQ10 with Tryptan. I have been taking Tryptan: about 2250 to 2625 mg. I am using this for sleep. I started using CoQ10 a few days ago: taking 300 mg in the morning. How do Tryptan and CoQ10 work; what are they accomplishing? I feel a bit drugged/sleepy. Is this normal for CoQ10, or is this a reaction with both together? Thanks for advice. Guest guest
Co-q-10 is a nutritional supplement which will help heal your brain chemistry so you can sleep better without taking so much medication. It sounds to me like it is already helping in that regard. I would lower the dose of tryptophan a little and see if that helps. Because it is a nutrient, co-q-10 does not have drug side effects. Good luck with this. Michele http://www.healthgazelle.com http://www.kidslikemine.com http://www.solanorail.com > > I have a question about using CoQ10 with Tryptan. Guest guest
There are probably additional issues you need to work on. Currently, when I wake up in the middle of the night, I take one pill of OLE and one pill of OoO with fruit juice. It usually lets me go right back to sleep. For me, it is infection that interferes with my sleep. So treating for infection with OLE and OoO is more effective than treating my brain chemistry, which is no longer badly out of whack like it was for so many years. Guest guest
OoO IS OIL OF OREGANO. Take care, Theodora > > There are probably additional issues you need to work on. Guest guest
Yes, OLE is olive leaf extract and, as Theodora said, OoO is oil of oregano. I also took a much higher amount of OLE combined with generous amounts of vitamin A and vitamin E for about 2 years to treat underlying infection. I saw major gains during that time in terms of better sleep, better overall health, etc. Michele http://www.healthgazelle.com http://www.kidslikemine.com http://www.solanorail.com > > There are probably additional issues you need to work on.
