Guest guest
I heard that as well. Almost years ago they said that Merck was going to make the separate vaccines available in 2010 but they have since decided not to. > > Hi all, > I have a friend who has a 3 month baby who is on a modified vaccine scheduled. At one year old, the mother is thinking of the MMR, but her pediatrician says that Merck stopped producing separated MMR vaccines. Is this true? Does anyone know or recommend a good pediatrician who offers a separated MMR? Guest guest
Separate vaccines will be available in 2011. Guest guest
They are no longer making them and all the existing ones are gone. There was a rumor they would start back but now MERCK is saying they will NEVER offer them again. Nice. > > > > Hi all, > > I have a friend who has a 3 month baby who is on a modified vaccine scheduled. Guest guest
My bad. In May it was reported that Merck would be producing the single vaccines. In Dec, they retracted, saying they'd stay with the combined MMR and no longer produce single vaccines. Sorry for the confusion. Guest guest
I suspect they know that those who only do one at a time, or only one of the three are less sick. Imagine if the studies of never vaxed and less kids ever comes out. This way, they have eliminated the chances of " less " vaxed kids. You can't study separate MMR shots for autism if there ARE no separate shots. > > > > > > Hi all, > > > I have a friend who has a 3 month baby who is on a modified vaccine scheduled.
