Guest guest
If the problem is heavy metal toxicity, the solution is chelation. After you have chelated long enough for the symptoms to go away, you won't need HBOT. I have been considering chelation for my son, we also have been considering HBOT. If I understand the methodology of HBOT, how pressure basically pushes oxygen further into the body, wouldn't it also push mercury and other toxins further in. I don't want to do anything that would be contrary to the chelation's success. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Tania

Guest guest
What about if one does HBOT in between chelation intervals. I mean during those 11 days off? Wouldn't that be a better option ??? ________________________________ From: Liz <elizabethsoliday@...> Sent: Tue, May 25, 2010 8:21:05 AM Subject: [ ] Re: HBOT & Chelation It is kind of like putting your pants on before your underwear. > > Hi everyone, > > I have a question that I hope someone can answer for me. Guest guest
My first real laugh of the day. Thanks, Liz. Anyway... wasn't there a concern about doing HBOT before chelating? An issue with the mercury load being negatively affected? I can't really remember the specifics, but at one point I do know people (even DAN!) were saying a period of chelation was recommended prior to any HBOT. Chelation is much cheaper. It is also, based on all the people I read about, more successful. Check the archives. pam > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > I have a question that I hope someone can answer for me. Guest guest
No, I don't think so. I think a person should wait until they are done chelating or almost done to do it or they will waste their money. > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > I have a question that I hope someone can answer for me. Guest guest
More than likely a waste of money. Many children actually regress from HBOT. It's about 50/50 some showing improvement, some regressing. The gains are not permanent either. It is like the GFCF diet, supplements, or any other biomedical intervention. They are all stop-gaps to make your child feel better while you are getting the metals out of them using chelation. Chelation is the solution to the actual root cause, which is heavy metal toxicity. If you child has some other problem than heavy metals, maybe HBOT can address that. Guest guest
Im not an expert but just what i understand after reading a few books on the topic........ Chelation is removing metals.....when metals are removed from brain the blood reaches in those parts of brain and children start to function normally,as per andy IQ is not damaged by mercury. In some cases there is inflammation and inspite of mercury being removed the blood still cannot reach everywhere,in such cases oxygen pressure and also healing power of oxygen can reduce the swelling and heal the brain and other organs if required to function properly. So unless the mercury is removed hbot is useless, and in some cases it can push mercury further into the brain causing more harm. laila From: shannon wood <nevada1983@...> Subject: [ ] HBOT & Chelation Received: Tuesday, October 12, 2010, 12:12 PM  Can anyone please explain to me why HBOT & Chelation are contraindicated? I couldn't find anything in the AC Amalgram Illness book? Thanks so much! 6 DMSA 25mg Lily 4 DMSA 12.5mg
